The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for our President’s protection from the coronavirus and cover him with the Blood of Jesus.
Let him respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit!
We refer those to You who are plotting and planning the demise of our beloved President!
We say “No!” to them and ask that You expose and foil all their plans! Thank You, Lord!
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members.
We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family
and all those serving in this Administration.
We pray for the Federal Reserve Board members, to use their power to boost our nation’s economy.
Let them act in accord with what is good for the USA!
The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections,
positioning ourselves in intercession before the Lord on behalf of our President and nation!
COUNTDOWN: 231 days until the election!
Let us pray into this verse:

Our Hope is in the Lord
“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing,
that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.“
Romans 15:13
We praise God for His Word, which assures us that “hope does not disappoint”, that when we “fear God and hope in His mercy, that He takes pleasure in us!” and that it is His delight to “fill us with His joy and peace” so that we “may abound in hope”…especially in times like these! God is the ONLY ONE able to fulfill and bring forth our hopes.
Webster’s Dictionary defines “hope” as: “to cherish a desire with anticipation; to want something to happen or be true; to desire with expectation of obtainment or fulfillment; expect with confidence; TRUST.”
“This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast”
Hebrews 6:19
The symbol that was used by ancient Christians for hope was an “anchor”…representing their hope in Jesus, Who would hold them fast and protect them. He is our refuge in whatever storms we face!
We pray:
- If there was ever a time that people needed to put their hope, their trust, their faith in You, Lord…it is now! Our HOPE is in You, and You Alone…and we know that as we trust You, “the anchor holds!” Pray
Hope is the proper response to the promises of God…and it comes to us as a gift – a grace – from God. It is an essential and fundamental element of Christian life. In the Old Testament, hope is linked with “putting confidence in” or “taking refuge in.” In the New Testament, it is linked with trust, courage and boldness, and the vast majority of the verses in the New Testament link hope to salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Hebrews 11:1
In this verse, faith is defined as “the substance of things hoped for” and as “the evidence of things not seen.” Faith creates our hope…and in order to have faith, we must have something in which we can trust. We can trust Jesus!
People can “believe” for something, and hope that it “comes true’…but if they don’t experience it…if they are not seeing any results…or sometimes, just before it actually manifests and becomes a “reality”…the ability to retain hope just seems so hard. During difficult times, like those we are experiencing across our nation and around the world at this hour, that feeling is even more heightened…and with a loss of hope, depression, despair and death raise their ugly heads, looking for a way to gain entry!!
We pray:
- For all those experiencing challenges that are coming against their hope! We ask that You would infuse them with Your faith, comfort them with Your love and strengthen their hope at this hour! Our hope is in You, Lord! Pray
President Trump and his team are taking decisive action to combat this virus and sustain hope across the nation! We lift our President, our Vice President and those working round the clock on our people’s behalf.
- “We have to fight that invisible enemy, I guess unknown, but we’re getting to know it much better,” President Trump said of the virus. “We are looking to save a maximum number of lives, taking aggressive action now as one nation and one family so that America can rebound stronger frankly, stronger than ever.” Pray
- On Tuesday, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said that the Trump Administration wants to get checks to Americans “in the next two weeks” in an effort to help people cope with the economic fallout due to the coronavirus pandemic. “We’re looking at sending checks to Americans immediately,” Mnuchin said during a press briefing from the White House. “Americans need cash now, the President wants to get cash now. I mean now—in the next few weeks.”Pray
- The Trump administration’s stimulus package is bigger than the 2008 bank bailout, and the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which was passed and signed by Barack Obama and totaled $787 billion to help stabilize the economy. Pray
Let us look at some of the things that can operate in our lives and come against hope. As we pray into them, let us break the agreement with them and intercede on behalf of those who have become ensnared by them!
- Negative thinking: it is critical to turn off negative thinking, and not allow it to interrupt sleep. The temptation is to process details over and over, trying to make sense of it. That serves no purpose. Pray
- Fear: Those that entertain a spirit of fear get caught in its snare! Any suggestion that paints a hopeless picture about the present, the future, in our minds must be rejected and a choice must be made…moment by moment…for Life! Pray
- Having the wrong people around us: Some people share into others’ fear! That kind of person should not be allowed to interact with us. We need those around who, when trials come, urge us to take it to the feet of Jesus, leaving it all with Him so He can deal with it. Pray
The “father of lies” is watching for our vulnerable moments and times of deep distress…constantly busy whispering in our ears…bringing suggestions such as:
- all is lost…
- we won’t get better…
- that something’s unfair…
- we don’t deserve it…
- the Lord did it…
- that He is not trustworthy…
- that He doesn’t care about us or is not there for us!
LIES! They are all lies!
If we indulge in those emotions and engage in negative thinking, if we are fearful, or allow satan or someone else to speak into our lives at the wrong time, we can fall into despair. WE MUST NOT…WILL NOT…CANNOT DO THAT!
The coronavirus task force reported that as of Tuesday, there were more than 4,660 confirmed cases in 49 states, including Washington, DC. Thus far, there have been 85 coronavirus-related deaths.
Despite what we see and hear, We, who are the Lord’s, must choose daily to believe His report! He has plans for us…His intercessors… to play a critical and significant role in bringing forth His plans for this nation… and we are moving forward (KADIMA!) to fulfill the destiny He has for us!
Even now, in the midst of the challenges we and this nation are facing, He is preparing us! We are here, standing at attention, and we will not miss the lessons that we need to learn!
We pray:
- That we will all be listening, to hear and obey the Voice of the Lord! Pray
- That we receive His strength and grace at this time, and believe His report that “by His stripes” we are healed! Pray
In 1776, Thomas Paine, one of our Founding Fathers, wrote these words, addressing the “crisis” of his time:
“THESE are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands by it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. I thank God, that I fear not. I see no real cause for fear. I know our situation well, and can see the way out of it.”
We pray:
- As we pass through this time which is trying the souls of many…coming against our hope, challenging our faith and trying to undermine our trust in God, we take a firm stand and say with one voice: Pray
“Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield.
For our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in His holy name.
Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, just as we hope in You.”
Psalm 33:20-22
