Apr 20, 2020 – Prayer Focus
Monday, April 20, 2020 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call
“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”
1-712-770-4340 Code: 543555 #
We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!
“Sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you
a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear”
1 Peter 3:15
We sing: My HOPE
My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness.
I dare not trust the sweetest frame but wholly lean on Jesus’ Name!
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand, all other ground is sinking sand!
All other ground is sinking sand!
When darkness seems to hide His face, I rest on His unchanging grace.
In every high and stormy gale, my anchor holds within the veil.
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand, all other ground is sinking sand!
All other ground is sinking sand!
When He shall come with trumpet sound, oh, may I then in Him be found.
Dressed in His righteousness alone, faultless to stand before the throne.
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand, all other ground is sinking sand!
All other ground is sinking sand!

The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for our President’s protection from the coronavirus and cover him with the Blood of Jesus.
Let him respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit!
We refer those to You who are plotting and planning the demise of our beloved President!
We say “No!” to them and ask that You expose and foil all their plans! Thank You, Lord!
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members.
We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family
and all those serving in this Administration.
We pray for the mass media, which is being used and exploited by the “father of lies.”
We ask that it either reverses course and reports accurately or be taken down.
We pray for the Federal Reserve Board members, to use their power to boost our nation’s economy.
Let them act in accord with what is good for the USA!
The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections,
positioning ourselves in intercession before the Lord on behalf of our President and nation!
COUNTDOWN: 198 days until the election!
Let us pray into this verse:
“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”
Hebrews 10:23
Strategic Focus for Monday
WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
The Dawning of Hope
“Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”
Romans 5:5
The United States has been going through a rough time with the coronavirus and all that it entails. All across this land, people are “hoping” to get through it…and are waiting for the moment that we can get “back to normal”. Generally, when people speak about HOPE, they are referring to “an optimistic state of mind that is based on an expectation of a positive outcome”…”cherishing a desire with anticipation”…or “a desire accompanied by a belief in fulfillment.”
When we, as Christians, refer to HOPE, it goes much deeper. It is an integral part of our relationship with God…a virtue that reflects intimacy with Him and speaks of our destiny…eternal happiness with Him. We who hope in the Lord are continually anticipating His positive response…even when crying out to Him in prayer! The Spirit of God within us bears witness to that hope and we find that we are able to wait in JOYFUL EXPECTATION for that which we hope for to be fulfilled. Scripture urges us to:
“Lay hold of the hope set before us. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast”
Hebrews 6:18-19
Bible teacher Warren Wiersbe reminds us that:
”Hope is not a sedative; it is a shot of adrenaline, a blood transfusion. Like an anchor, our hope in Christ stabilizes us in the storms of life; and unlike an anchor, our hope moves us forward, it does not hold us back!“
We pray:
- Lord, teach us the deeper meaning of HOPE as we pray through this focus today! Let us be radiant with it and be an encouragement to all we encounter!
There is an old saying: “It’s always darkest before the dawn!” The idea behind this is related to the literal meaning of dawn.
- As we wait in darkness for the coming of each new morning, we must first pass through a period known as the predawn. At that point, there is the least light before dawn begins, and it is also the longest point since last seeing light.
- Then we enter into the “prelude” to the day…the dawn. when we begin to see diffused light washing the sky, often with radiant colors.
- This all crescendos at sunrise, when the glowing ball of fire finally breaks the horizon, and we see the direct sunlight.
With each new day, HOPE is renewed in our hearts…and we move forward into a new day, with new opportunities to know, love and serve our GREAT and GLORIOUS GOD! KADIMA!
“But to you who fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings”
Malachi 4:2
For many who have been hardest hit by the Wuhan virus (Chinese coronavirus)…this “invisible enemy” (as our President calls it)…it has felt like an interminable experience. Our responsibility as intercessors is to encourage ourselves and one another. Evangelist George Mueller said:
“When nothing else will work, encourage yourself in the Lord. Do it with the word of God. Be assured, if you walk with Him and look to Him, and expect help from Him, He will never fail you.”
As we read through these verses, let us pray into each one…for ourselves, for one another, and most particularly, for our beloved President and Vice President…that all may be encouraged and filled with hope for the future God has promised this nation. We will do our part in the glorious end times, and together bring in a bountiful harvest of souls for the King and His Kingdom!
But David encouraged himself in the Lord.
