Wednesday, May 6, 2020 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call

“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”

1-712-770-4340   Code:  543555 #

We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!

“Your eyes will see the King in His beauty”

Isaiah 33:17

We sing: Oh, Lord, You’re Beautiful!

Oh, Lord, You’re beautiful! Your face is all I see!

For when Your eyes are on this child, Your grace abounds to me.

Oh, Lord, You’re beautiful! Your face is all I see!

For when Your eyes are on this child, Your love abounds to me.

Oh, Lord, please light the fire that once burned bright and clean.

Replace the lamp of my first love that‘s fueled with holy fear.

Oh, Lord, You’re beautiful! Your face is all I see!

For when Your eyes are on this child, Your faith abounds to me…to me!

The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!

We pray for our President’s protection from the coronavirus and cover him with the Blood of Jesus.

Let him respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit!

We refer those to You who are plotting and planning the demise of our beloved President!

We say “No!” to them and ask that You expose and foil all their plans! Thank You, Lord!

We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members.

We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family

and all those serving in this Administration.

We pray for the mass media, which is being used and exploited by the “father of lies.”

We ask that it either reverses course and reports accurately or be taken down.

We pray for the Federal Reserve Board members, to use their power to boost our nation’s economy.

Let them act in accord with what is good for the USA!

The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections,

positioning ourselves in intercession before the Lord on behalf of our President and nation!

COUNTDOWN: 182 days until the election!

Let us pray into this verse:

“The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Philippians 4:9

Strategic Focus for Wednesday

WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!

Follow Me as I Follow Christ!

“Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. Give no offense, either to the Jews or to the Greeks or to the church of God, just as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved. Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.”

1 Corinthians 10:31-11:1

When our eyes are fixed on Jesus, we are transfixed by His beauty, His peace, His holiness. We feel His love, experience His mercy, and rest in His Presence. When we have an intimate relationship with Him, more and more, we desire the things of heaven rather than the things of the world..and we find ourselves thinking about .“things that are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, of good report.” All those things that we have been taught as Christians, what we’ve “learned, and received and heard” have become real in our lives, and we find all that we do is done for His glory!

We pray:

  • In gratitude for the opportunity to know, love and serve You, Lord. We want to delight Your heart, our King, as we live and move and have our being in You! Show us how to love You more! Pray.

There are groups who have chosen to lay down their lives for the sake of the gospel and to serve others! Samaritan’s Purse is one of them! This compassionate, Christian-based, humanitarian relief organization, run by Franklin Graham has been operating a field hospital in NYC’s Central Park during the coronavirus outbreak, and has treated patients infected with COVID-19. When NYC had become both the US and global epicenter for COVID-19, and was desperate for help, the world-renowned ministry stepped in. Now, that facility has been shut down.

Although Samaritan’s Purse is committed to serve every patient without discrimination, the presence of the ministry was immediately decried by the homosexual community, who mobilized to draw attention to their “concerns” about the group’s religious views on homosexuality. They held LGBTQ demonstrations outside the SP hospital tents, and publicly denounced (with loud bull horns) the organization’s Biblical views on sexuality…rejecting their presence…and upsetting the hospitalized COVID-19 patients!

“Those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”

Romans 8:5-6

We pray:

  • That those trapped in this “death-style”, and have made “friends” with the spirits that control them, would have an epiphany, in which they realize they are in bondage and cry out to God for deliverance! Pray.

While several other field hospitals in New York City that were assembled to treat COVID-19 patients will remain in place, only the Samaritan’s Purse field hospital is being permanently shut down. Still supporting eight COVID-19 patients as of Friday,  officials said it could take two weeks to treat the remaining patients and decontaminate the tents. Mount Sinai Health System announcement came to the decision to shut down the organization’s field hospital right after NYCity Council Speaker Corey Johnson lashed out at Samaritan’s Purse. In a vilifying message, he decried Samaritan’s Purse’s practice of “requiring” staff to sign a pledge stating they upheld traditional marriage and claimed that the city’s “valuing of diversity” should not allow such a bigoted, hate-spewing group to remain there!

Approximately 40 Samaritan’s Purse staffers will stay within the Mount Sinai system, redeployed to a floor of Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital.  State Senator Brad Hoylman expressed opposition to the hospital’s continued relationship “with the homophobic Franklin Graham”.

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness…”

 Isaiah 5:20

A phase-out of Samaritan’s Purse employees will be slower at Beth Israel Hospital. Why? Because the hospital is still in need of health care workers…and these servants of God are willing to stay on and care for those in need!

We pray:

  • That the hate-filled speech of Mr. Johnson would be seen for what it is, and the contrast with the loving care being offered by the Samaritan’s Purse team would put him to shame…and cause his constituents to remove him from office!  Pray.
  • That the anti-Christian, self-promoting comments by Mr. Hoylman, will backfire on him as people see his agenda and that the real “poison” is in his venomous rhetoric! Pray.
  • That God-fearing New Yorkers will arise and speak out against such hatred and animosity, and demand that their elected officials honor and appreciate all those who came to assist them in this time of crisis! Pray.

Today, we give thanks for those conservative commentators in the media like Ben Shapiro, who had something to say about issues re: the reopening of our economy.  Please read and pray into these statements:

  • “One of the reasons that there is increasing skepticism about the full lockdown orders is because of the dishonesty of the media and the political agenda of some of the people pushing this thing”
  • “You get the feeling that there are some people who are…looking for an excuse in order to keep the lockdowns going so they can promulgate policies that they wanted in the first place.”

Pray.

  • “What they should be doing is rooting that this thing is not as deadly as we’ve been told”
  • “We’re drawing closer and closer to the reality of the situation, which is that if nothing happens in the near future, all we can do is protect the most vulnerable people in our population and let everyone else go back to work.”

Pray.

We are following our President in prayer, throughout every day, upholding him as he walks uprightly before the Lord. While touring a mask production facility yesterday in Phoenix, AZ, he said “We can’t keep our country closed for the next five years…we’ve learned a lot about the coronavirus.”

  • His Administration has begun to wind down the activity of the Coronavirus Task Force as our economy begins to reopen.
  • His advisers will continue to examine the virus “very closely,” and the doctors on the task force will continue to make their voices heard.

Vice President Pence, who has led the task force, said that White House officials were “having conversations” about finishing up the group’s business and would have “agencies take over the work”, specifically mentioning the Federal Emergency Management Agency [FEMA]. If the Task Force itself were to be discontinued, that would be around Memorial Day or early June.

The Task Force was a temporary arrangement but experts will continue to provide input, yet not meeting each day. The White House is shifting its focus toward reopening the country, as outlined in Phase 1 of the administration’s “Opening Up America Again” guidelines. It will be an ongoing shift over the next several weeks.

  • Doctors will continue to play an “important advisory role” in the process, as the administration has aimed to “make sure medical guidelines are kept up to date” and Americans are able to safely return to work.
  • Members of the Task Force will continue to provide input, but the group will not be meeting as regularly as they had been at the outset of the pandemic.
  • The White House’s focus was shifting towards vaccines, therapeutics, testing and re-opening the economy.

We pray:

  • That this nation will follow the President as he follows Christ, Whom he honors publicly! For that we are so grateful! Thank You, Lord!
  • That we will move into Phase 1 and beyond, quickly and easily, and that the engines of our economy will be fueled and blast off…into the destiny God has for us and for our nation!
  • That this year’s National Day of Prayer ( tomorrow ) will be the most powerful ever, and that our nation and our people, will be blessed indeed as we share the love of God with one another from border to border, coast to coast! The theme is  “Pray God’s Glory Across the Earth,” – based on the scripture from Habakkuk 2:14, “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”
