Sunday, June 21, 2020 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call

“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”

1-712-770-4340   Code:  543555 #  (Ongoing call…24 hours a day!)

We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!

“I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”

2 Corinthians 6:18

We sing: Good, Good Father

I’ve heard a thousand stories of what they think You’re like.

But I’ve heard the tender whispers of love in the dead of night

and You tell me that You’re pleased and that I’m never alone.

You’re a good, good Father. It’s who You are, it’s who You are, it’s who You are!

And I’m loved by You. It’s who I am, it’s who I am, it’s who I am.

I’ve seen many searching for answers far and wide,

but I know we’re all searching for answers only you provide,

‘cause you know just what we need before we say a word

You’re a good, good Father. It’s who You are, it’s who You are, it’s who You are!

And I’m loved by You. It’s who I am, it’s who I am, it’s who I am.

You are perfect in all of Your ways. You are perfect in all of Your ways.

You are perfect in all of Your ways to us.

You are perfect in all of Your ways. You are perfect in all of Your ways.

You are perfect in all of Your ways to us.

Love so undeniable, I, I can hardly speak. Peace so unexplainable, I, I can hardly think.

As You call me deeper still…as You call me deeper still…as You call me deeper still

into love, love, love.

You’re a good, good Father. It’s who You are, it’s who You are, it’s who You are!

And I’m loved by You. It’s who I am, it’s who I am, it’s who I am.

You’re a good, good Father. It’s who You are, it’s who You are, it’s who You are!

And I’m loved by You. It’s who I am, it’s who I am, it’s who I am.

You’re a good, good Father. It’s who You are, it’s who You are, it’s who You are!

And I’m loved by You. It’s who I am, it’s who I am, it’s who I am.

The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!

We pray for our President’s protection and cover him with the Blood of Jesus.

Let him respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit!

We refer those to You who are plotting and planning the demise of our beloved President!

We say “No!” to them and ask that You expose and foil all their plans! Thank You, Lord!

We pray that the “elite medical establishment” will no longer block our doctors from prescribing hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for the coronavirus. Let the doctors be free to practice as You lead

We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members.

We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family

and all those serving in this Administration.

We pray for the mass media, which is being used and exploited by the “father of lies.”

We ask that it either reverses course and reports accurately or be taken down.

We pray for the Federal Reserve Board members, to use their power to boost our nation’s economy.

Let them act in accord with what is good for the USA!

The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections,

positioning ourselves in intercession before the Lord on behalf of our President and nation!

COUNTDOWN: 136 days until the election!

Let us pray into this verse:

“In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, and His children will have a place of refuge,

Proverbs 14:26

HAPPY FATHERS’ DAY!

Strategic Focus for Sunday

WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!

HAPPY FATHERS’ DAY!

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen!

Matthew 6:9-14

Americans love celebrations! At times such as Father’s Day, we gather together with those we love and enjoy the special things that we share in common…things that are both cherished and foundational…God, family and country! Our shared values transcend all economic, political, social and ethnic barriers as these happy occasions bring us together…as families… and as a people.

We pray:

  • That today, first and foremost, we will remember the goodness, love and mercy of our Heavenly Father. We honor You above all fathers, and thank You that You first loved us and by that love, brought us into Your family! Pray.

Being a good father, with so many responsibilities, isn’t always easy. Let’s make it a point today to remind the men in our lives of why they are so loved and appreciated. If it’s difficult to find just the right words to express that, the Bible has verses to help show that love. Whether whispered as a prayer to our Heavenly Father, written in a Father’s Day card and mailed off to a loved one, or spoken directly from the heart, the “Word of God speaks” our love for our fathers, grandfathers, stepdads, husbands and others who served in the role of fathers to us!

Let us read the following verses and pray into each, speaking LIFE and giving thanks for our believing fathers…and calling the others into relationship with the Lord!

“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Joshua 24:15

Pray.

“I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men and with the blows of the sons of men. But My mercy shall not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I removed from before you.”

2 Samuel 7:14-15:

Pray.

“As a father pities his children, so the Lord pities those who fear Him.

Psalm 103:13

Pray.

“My son, hear the instruction of your father, and do not forsake the law of your mother”

Proverbs 1:8

Pray.

“He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers”

Malachi 4:6

Pray.

“And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.”

Luke 15:20

Pray.

“The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice, and he who begets a wise child will delight in him.”

Proverbs 23:24

Pray.

“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.”

3 John 1:4

Pray.

Just as we have our Heavenly Father and earthly fathers or father figures, we also have a President who is like a “father” to this nation! His love for the United States of America and its people, his desire to honor God, his unfailing belief in righteousness and justice which is our American heritage are all propelling him forward (KADIMA!) to see us fulfill the destiny God has called us to!  Some of his “children” have caused him deep pain, suffering and sorrow, yet like the good father he is, he presses on, doing what is right before God.  “We, the people” affirm him!

“And above all things have fervent love for one another, for love will cover a multitude of sins.”

1 Peter 4:8:

Pray.

Like all good fathers, President Trump is doing all he can to bring healing to our divided nation! On Tuesday, he and HUD Secretary Ben Carson, whose own story of overcoming poverty and crime when growing up in Detroit is an inspiration to us all, plan to convene a closed-door meeting with 900 evangelical and social conservative leaders. They hope that this is the start to work out a plan to begin the redemption and reunification of our great country.

Op-ed columnist and Christian speaker Cal Thomas wrote an article suggesting things that would be helpful for that healing! We are using portions of it for prayer points today.  Please read and pray into each one.

  • There is only one race…the human race. We are one seamless coat of many colors, one “body” with many parts, each with an important function that contributes to the whole. We call ourselves the UNITED States of America for a reason. No other country exemplifies such unity. Though we have our disagreements and even sometimes divisions, our oneness is our greatest strength. Pray.
  • There is no “pure” or “master” race. No race is superior to another. To hate someone simply because of the color of their skin is to hate one’s self because we all share the same origin story, the same human DNA. This is all part of God’s doing in His ultimate creative and most beautiful work – humanity. We are created in His image.  Pray.
  • Historically, many of our churches have not always been on the right side when it comes to the issues surrounding “race”. Some churches oppose civil rights for African Americans and quote Scripture incorrectly, in attempts to justify their positions.  As President Abraham Lincoln said during our most divisive war:

“Both read the same Bible and pray to the same God; and each invokes His aid against the other … The prayers of both could not be answered; that of neither has been answered fully. The Almighty has His own purposes.”

Pray.

  • Racism and the many evils that have flowed from it are matters of the heart. Who better to address heart matters than the Church, which preaches a gospel of redemption and changed lives?  Let there be new alliances between white and black congregations that will help us to together reflect and live out Who’s we say we are…HIS! Pray.
  • Both the Old and New Testaments speak of our obligation to the poor and excluded. Addressing racism and poverty are conservative issues. We conservatives, as former HUD Secretary Jack Kemp observed, “…define compassion not by the number of people who receive some kind of government aid, but rather by the number of people who no longer need it.”  Pray.
  • Our goal must be to get as many people as possible who desire a better life to get on their feet and living independent of government, with the dignity and honor that goes with a job and a stable family. Our churches are uniquely equipped to provide such help. This should not be an obligation, but a duty, a privilege, and a blessing. A changed life creates optimism and self-respect and earns the respect of others. Pray.

On this Fathers’ Day 2020, we are grateful for all the “good” people who reflect the character and attributes of our Heavenly Father! May we, the Body of Christ, His Church and Bride, be the most beautiful reflection of our Savior’s love and mercy, as we work together to heal our nation’s wounds and together, glorify our Father in heaven! AMEN!
