Are you hurting and broken within? Overwhelmed by the weight of your sin? Jesus is calling.
Have you come to the end of yourself? Do you thirst for a drink from the well?
O come to the altar! The Father’s arms are open wide.
Forgiveness was bought with the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ!
Leave behind your regrets and mistakes. Come today, there’s no reason to wait. Jesus is calling.
Bring your sorrows and trade them for joy. From the ashes, a new life is born. Jesus is calling.
O come to the altar! The Father’s arms are open wide.
Forgiveness was bought with the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ!
Oh what a Savior! Isn’t He wonderful? Sing hallelujah, Christ is risen!
Bow down before Him, for He is Lord of all! Sing HalleluYah, Christ is risen!
O come to the altar! The Father’s arms are open wide.
Forgiveness was bought with the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ!

The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for our President’s protection and cover him with the Blood of Jesus.
We ask that he respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit!
We say “No!” to those planning his demise, and ask You to expose and foil all their evil plans!
We ask for angelic beings to be stationed to stand guard over and protect the WHITE HOUSE,
and for open doors, to be able to ask the President to call our people to a National Day of Repentance.
We pray for ourselves and our loved ones, as we put on the full armor of God!
We pray specifically for our sister, Repeka Nuusa (CO) who’s been given a diagnosis only God can reverse.
We pray for the coronavirus to be taken down by Almighty God…no second wave…no more spikes…
just the full and complete destruction of the virus in the United States!
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members
We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family
and all those serving in this Administration.
We pray for the mass media, which is being used and exploited by the “father of lies.”
We ask that it either reverses course and reports accurately, or be taken down.
We pray for the Federal Reserve Board members, to use their power to boost our nation’s economy.
Let them act in accord with what is good for the USA!
The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections, positioning ourselves in intercession
before the Lord, asking for a LANDSLIDE VICTORY for President Donald John Trump!
COUNTDOWN: 41 days until the election!
Let us pray into this verse:
“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
Hebrews 4:16
Strategic Focus for Thursday
WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!
Remember…and Repent!
“Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works”
Revelation 2:5
We are in the time between Rosh HaShanah / the Feast of Trumpets, (September 18th-19th) and Yom Kippur / the Day of Atonement, (September 27th-28th) which is known as the Ten Days of Awe. It is a period of reflection, a solemn time…one in which we fix our eyes on our Redeemer and ask for His forgiveness.
In the Jewish tradition, Rabbi Yoḥanan wrote in the Jerusalem Talmud: “Three books are opened on Rosh HaShana. One of wholly wicked people, and one of wholly righteous people; one of “middling” people whose good and bad deeds are equally balanced.” This third group represents those who are “undecided” and illustrates the difference in the destinies of those who are “hot, cold and lukewarm.”
“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.”.
Revelation 3:15-16
If the lukewarm are the “undecided” then the importance of these Ten Days of Awe cannot be stressed enough! This is the time to make a choice…whether to be hot or cold, because the option to remain in the “undecided” category is about to vanish. It is time for the lukewarm to choose on which side they stand.
We pray:
- For those who are undecided…“riding the fence” and refusing to make a decision…about accepting Christ…about defending LIFE…about how they will vote on November 3rd. Let them stand for righteousness, deciding what they believe…and affirming it…then casting their votes for God-fearing, conservative, patriotic Americans who will uphold God’s law and the law of the land, which is based on His Word! Pray.
This ten-day period ends on Sunday evening, when Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, begins. When we entered into these Ten Days of Awe, we stepped into an “appointed time” and were called to examine our own hearts, repent before the Lord and also to reconcile with others we have sinned against! It is important that we recognize that this is more than just a Jewish “tradition”. Yeshua (Jesus), the Pesach (Passover) Lamb, was slain once and for all, 2,000 years ago on Golgotha, and heaven’s gates were opened wide for all who would repent and return to the Lord.
Soon after Yom Kippur, we will experience the joy of entering into Sukkot / the Feast of Tabernacles (October 2nd-9th). During this time, we celebrate our “reunion” with God and the fact that God is dwelling with His people!
We pray:
- Lord Jesus, You said: “I go to prepare a place for YOU!” How lovely is Your dwelling place! Thank You that Your Blood washed away our sin and allows us to enter into that relationship with You! Pray.
Through Jesus’s death on the cross, God did all that was necessary for us to be able to boldly approach the throne of grace. It is up to us to choose to do what is required (repent) in order to be able to enter in!
During this repentance journey, we are reminded that repentance, (as does judgment), begins in the house of God. God first deals with His people before addressing the people in the world. It wouldn’t make sense if a just and holy God took pride in calling a group of redeemed humankind “His own” if they were not walking in holiness. How can He deal with those who don’t know the gospel, if he hasn’t chastened His own when they haven’t obeyed His Word?
“For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?”
1 Peter 4:17
We pray:
- That we would examine our own hearts and consciences, to see if anything we are doing, saying, or believing is displeasing to the Lord. If it is, let us confess it as sin, renounce it and receive forgiveness! Pray.
Jonah (who represents the remnant) needed to repent first so that God could deal with Nineveh (the world). The land bears the consequence of the sin of corrupt leaders and people, and according to 2 Chronicles 7:14, healing of a land is conditional to the repentance of God’s people. The case of Nineveh is a classic story of repentance which took place as a result of the repentance of Jonah. He was merely a messenger of God, and God had to deal with him first before He dealt with Nineveh.
What amazes us is that Nineveh repented so quickly. The world that we feel is “too far gone”…that we’ve “written off”…can and will respond to the call to repentance…once we, His people, have humbled ourselves and led the way! Once we are rightly positioned…they will follow! Jonah was a repentant and obedient messenger who broke open the way! Are we as willing and as quick to obey?
We pray:
- Lord, we are so quick to see what others do to offend us, yet we are blind to our own sinfulness! Forgive us! Secure in Your love for us, we ask You to show us the truth about ourselves, so that we might turn from whatever displeases You and become realigned in Your service once more! Pray.
Does the Church truly want to see those in the world around us repent…to see them saved? When there is a crisis or calamity in our country, are we more worried about our own security, jobs and 401Ks than all the souls who are about to perish? In many ways, Jonah reflects our own hearts. When we hear a call to repentance, we immediately think of our national sins…yet, forget our own rebellious ways. God is looking for a “container”
a remnant – fully sold out to Him – before He can usher in that great end-times harvest. Let’s not just talk about souls that need to be saved; let’s do more…let’s repent and lead the way, as Jonah did. Are we ready? Pray.
The story of Jonah recounts his journey to repentance, before and after the prophet delivers God’s message to repent! The mercy of God was more than sufficient to deal with both Israel’s and Nineveh’s sins. Surprisingly, Nineveh responded faster than Israel, who called themselves the “children of God.” For Israel, it took over forty years in the wilderness to know God… while it took only 40 days for Nineveh to humble themselves. As a result of their repentance, God extended Nineveh’s life another two hundred years.
As we take this repentance journey, we will allow the Lord to heal, strengthen and position us for the year ahead. 5781 began at sundown on September 18, 2020…and we are already 5 days into it…and halfway through the Ten Days of Awe! It’s time to heed His admonition:
“Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” So rend your heart, and not your garments; return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; and He relents from doing harm.
Joel 2:12-13
Pray.
The return of the remnant…through repentance…the key message for us as we move toward our national elections! “Repentance” in Hebrew is “shuv” which means“to return”. Isn’t it time for America to return to the Lord? Repentance is the process through which we can do that...as He convicts us that the way in which we are going (our way) is not right. We hear, and “turn” from our “wicked” way…and return to the Lord. It is only through repentance that a fallen world is able to reconnect with our heavenly Father.. one individual at a time. Repentance serves as a “bridge” between a holy God and human beings, who live in a broken world. It involves submission of our will to His…something we must choose to do freely! This may be uncomfortable, but it is good for the heart. Pray.
Repentance is generally associated with pain and sorrow…which all those born into this broken world are subject to! Black, white, young and old, rich and poor…we all have that experience, but it is useful, for it leads us to willingly make “course corrections.”
The Bible tells us that there are two kinds of sorrow: Godly and worldly! Godly sorrow leads to repentance and accomplishes good results, while worldly sorrow arises from the consequence of our own willful and sinful actions, resulting in death and destruction.
“For Godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.”
2 Corinthians 7:10.
Sorrow in our lives helps us to humble ourselves, pray and repent, which leads us back to God. Without repentance, there is no way for us to return. “Unless you repent you will all likewise perish” may sound harsh, but Jesus said it twice in Luke 13:3,5 Godly sorrow opens the door to repentance, and leads to salvation as we place our faith in Jesus! It causes us to turn away from sin. Worldly sorrow pays the “wages of sin”…death. Pray.
Repentance is not the same as remorse, and being worried about something or feeling sorry about it doesn’t lead us back to God. Worry, remorse and being “sorry” are all within the worldly realm, and subject us to death, the result of sin
“Sin, that it might appear sin, was producing death in me…”
Romans 7:13
True repentance brings a God-centered heaviness that helps us to make those course corrections. Deliverance and salvation come from the Lord, Whose Spirit dwells in our hearts, and ultimately, repentance IS a matter of the heart…not just a mental decision…for the issues of life are determined in our hearts, not our minds.
“Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.”
Proverbs 4:23
Pray.
We pray:
- Lord, as we journey through these days ahead, moving toward Yom Kippur, help us to understand the essence of Godly repentance, to see it as the gift it is…for ourselves first, then as we identify corporately with those who are trapped in the darkness of this fallen world and need to find their way back to You! Pray.
- Help us to truly understand what “come to the altar and see that the Father’s arms are open wide…” means and to realize that forgiveness has already been “bought with the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ!” Pray.
- Give President Trump the impetus to call the people of our nation…”We, the People”…to a National Day of Repentance, so that together, we might humble ourselves, and pray and repent, before You, and see You move in power and might on behalf of the United States of America…and heal our land! Pray.
