For us to receive and put on the Ephesians 6 “full armor of God” as we begin each hour,
that we might be protected as we continue to “stand in the gap” for our beloved country!
Pray.
The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly
for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump,
and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for his protection and ask that he be led by the Holy Spirit
so that he will discern truth and act for the good of the nation.
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage and family, and cover them all with the Blood of Jesus.
Pray.
For those whom God has called, anointed, and appointed to serve this nation in the future,
particularly as US President, to be protected and sustained during their “periods of incubation”,
before publicly declaring their intentions to run for office.
Pray.
Bring the SCOTUS Justices into alignment with God’s purposes in making their decisions!
Protect all the members of the Trump Administration,
especially the Cabinet, military, law enforcement agencies, such as ICE, FBI, and CBP.
Pray.
We will now spend the next 10 minutes praying for President Trump,
focusing our prayers against any assassination attempts, demonic attacks against him and
healing of those impacted by TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME.
Let him remain in good health, so he can serve his entire 4-year term as our 47th US President!

Last week on Life, Liberty & Levin, Mark had Victor Davis Hanson as his guest. It’s always such a blessing to hear his thoughts and insights. Let’s read and pray into Part 1 of what VDH shared!
MARK LEVIN: We’re here with my good friend Victor Davis Hanson, Hoover Institution senior fellow and great historian. Victor, we’re in a war with the Iranian regime. How important is this war historically? It’s my contention that it’s very important, because we won the Cold War, but for the last half century, there’s been this geopolitical, massive effort to change society that’s been going on. Now, it’s front and center…and President Trump is confronting and dealing with it, because of their pursuit of nuclear weapons. Am I right?
VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: Yes, for most of our lives, the Middle East supplied 40-50% of the world’s oil. Now, Russia’s not communist anymore. It’s an oligarchic, tyrannical society that has lost its patron in Syria. It’s lost Iran…and China…(people are wising up to China in the Middle East, and it’s not getting oil really from Iran.) So Iran’s the last real obstacle in the Middle East. All sorts of countries in the Gulf and moderate countries want to be either neutral to us or allied to the West. Iran was the bully of the Middle East. (93 million people, it’s the size of Texas and Oklahoma combined.) It always talked about its existential desire to destroy people, and it does. It was always the obstacle, and 7 presidents knew that. But they also knew that if you go in there, it was a mess because they’re the largest population except for Egypt, and they’re fanatic, and they’re nihilist. So every president (like the old Aesop’s fable…”we gotta bell the cat”, but nobody wants to put the bell on the cat). Donald Trump was the first one who said, “I’ll do it,” and he did it at great political risk. Pray.
MARK LEVIN: So we’re in a confrontation with the Iranian regime…pounding the hell out of it. How long can this go on? Are we going to defeat them? Contain them? Are we just trying to open the Strait of Hormuz? What is going on here?
VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: Well, it’s a test of wills. They have two objectives. One, they want to seem the victim and have the Europeans and people on the left to say, “OK, already, stop. They’re defeated. You’re only hurting the Iranian people.” Two, they feel that they can always hide 50-100 missiles so that they can intimidate the Gulf states and the oil suppliers and disrupt the Strait of Hormuz. I think our strategy is to inflict a level of damage upon them where they’re not able to harm the other countries and then to leave, because I don’t think you can negotiate with these people. I think there may be regime change, but it will only take place after the shooting stops and the people come out of their apartments and see the devastation and that this government will not help them…but it wants to rearm. Then we leave a fleet to keep the strait open, and we supply our Gulf friends and Israel, and they will monitor it. And every time we see activity (in a year from now, 3 years from now), we go in and take it out. They’re counting on that finally there will be a Democratic left-wing president who will go back to the Obama paradigm… that we want to be neutral… and the Shia and Persian underdogs haven’t got a fair shake in the Middle East against the Sunni Arabs…so we create tension, and we’ll adjudicate that. That got us in this jam, for the most part. Pray.
MARK LEVIN: If the people vote for a Democrat, I don’t believe they’re going to contain Iran at all. You’re talking about containment. We and our allies have enough of a force there, do, like the Israelis and so forth, that if we see Iran pursuing nuclear weapons, we have satellite ability, the intelligence ability, and we’ll be able to hit, contain, and keep them there. That’s the hope. I’ve heard people talk about this, but is that true? When we talk about the woke right, they’re completely isolationist. Do you think that the American people have the stomach for that?
VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: I don’t think we should lift the sanctions or debank the leadership and the embargo. (Even the Europeans put on an embargo, sanctioned a few more of their leaders.) We have to squeeze them economically, but the elephant in the room is regime change. President Trump’s been very careful not to mention that. They know they can’t put ground troops politically in there… that regime change has a bad reputation for America in the Middle East, so they don’t want to mention it. If you inflict a level of damage where they can’t hurt anybody for 3, 4, 5 years, and arm our allies, and have ships patrolling the straits, and sanctions on them, then you’re squeezing them tight, (it’s like the Berlin Wall fell and nobody did anything, and all of a sudden the Warsaw Pact nations started toppling within a year, and the Soviet Union collapsed in 2 years. Pray.
They have a half-trillion-dollar investment in their military nuclear industrial complex, and it’s going to be pretty much wiped out. And you know what they’re going to do. Even with sanctions, they’re going to try to find any way possible to rebuild that and to supply these Arab Ring of Fire terrorists around Israel. And that’s going to come at the expense of an already impoverished citizenry. So we’re trying to make a cauldron… inflict damage militarily so they’re inert for 4 or 5 years, leave a defense perimeter around them, sanction and debank them, and let the people be rearmed. They have to do something because they’re going to be set last on the priority of rebuilding as far as the theocracy is concerned. They’re not going to help the people. They’re going to try to rearm first. We can do a lot of things. We can cut off their rail links to China, and bomb the ports on the Caspian Sea that are rail links to Russia. We haven’t even tried to stop their air traffic. They were still sending air traffic into the Houthis in Yemen. We can stop that if we want to put more pressure on, but I just don’t think that you’re gonna have immediate militarily achieved regime change without ground troops…and I think ground troops would be politically taboo in the climate we have right now. It would destroy the Trump administration. Pray.
MARK LEVIN: Well, there aren’t going to be ground troops, but there are citizens, and we can arm them. We destroyed the Soviet Union using a number of policies, and that was one of them. We were very active in supporting the labor movement in Poland, in East Germany, in all these Eastern European countries… so I think you’re right. I like the way you laid that out. I do believe that we have to do more to help the people in Iran to rise up, to give them some of what they need, some of the training and some of the arms.
VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: Yes, I think we should declare an Iranian government in exile…and if the Shah’s son, Reza Pahlavi, would be willing to concede that, if he were to return, he would have elections within a year or two and swear to that…then we would deal with some type of exile government, and just ignore the theocracy and say, “We’re not going to talk to them,” and make them pay for any damage they do with the funds that we’ve confiscated and frozen. I think that’s a great idea, by the way. Pray.
We pray:
Father, we ask that President Trump “glean from the wisdom of VDH and Mark Levin,” and consider what they have shared to bring about a conclusion to the Iran conflict! Pray.
That the people of Iran would not lose heart, but rather, would arise in strength and fervor, to overthrow and remove their oppressors. Pray.
That the people of our nation will stand alongside President Trump, and remain engaged in this BATTLE TO SAVE AMERICA until VICTORY is won! Pray.
Protect, strengthen, and cover our 24/7 family in the Blood of Jesus. Bring in mature Christian men and women, and call the younger generation to this assignment with us, as we pray for our President and our beloved nation! Prepare us for our NEXT STEPS in this Battle to Save America! Pray.
