We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!

For us to receive and put on the Ephesians 6 “full armor of God” as we begin each hour,
that we might be protected as we continue to “stand in the gap” for our beloved country!
Pray.
The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly
for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump,
and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for his protection and ask that he be led by the Holy Spirit
so that he will discern truth and act for the good of the nation.
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage and family, and cover them all with the Blood of Jesus.
Pray.
For those whom God has called, anointed, and appointed to serve this nation in the future,
particularly as US President, to be protected and sustained during their “periods of incubation”,
before publicly declaring their intentions to run for office.
Pray.
Bring the SCOTUS Justices into alignment with God’s purposes in making their decisions!
Protect all the members of the Trump Administration,
especially the Cabinet, military, law enforcement agencies, such as ICE, FBI, and CBP.
Pray.
We will now spend the next 10 minutes praying for President Trump,
focusing our prayers against any assassination attempts, demonic attacks against him and
healing of those impacted by TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME.
Let him remain in good health, so he can serve his entire 4-year term as our 47th US President!

Across the nation: Tomorrow, primaries will be held in five states: Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Virginia, and Washington. Trump-endorsed GOP candidates are strongly positioned in the key August 4 primaries in Kansas and Michigan. Other Trump-endorsed candidates (mostly House incumbents in Missouri, Virginia, and Washington) compete in low-contest or safe Republican seats, and face limited opposition.
In Kansas, State Senate President Ty Masterson is the frontrunner for the open governor’s race, following
President Trump’s endorsement in a contest rated as “lean or toss-up” Republican for the general election. In his race, incumbent US Sen. Roger Marshall faces only nominal opposition, and should continue in office!
In Michigan, Trump-endorsed US Representative John James leads the GOP governor’s primary with 40%
over Perry Johnson at 32%. Former Representative Mike Rogers advances unopposed for the open US Senate seat in Michigan, where he will be facing a very competitive general election with the Dem nominee.
We ask that those candidates who are called, anointed, and appointed by God will prevail and serve us well!

In DC: Last week, President Trump called on Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) to keep the Senate in session, canceling the Congressional summer vacation (August recess), until it passes the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE America) Act or eliminates the filibuster. President Trump posted the following on Truth Social:
“John Thune should not allow the United States Senate to ‘leave town’ until it passes The Save America Act
or, far better still, TERMINATES THE FILIBUSTER,
where Republicans can then quickly pass everything they ever dreamed of,
including a full and deep-throated SAVE AMERICA ACT, the Budget,
and the ever looming Debt Ceiling disaster, 1929!
The Dumocrats will do it on day one and can’t believe how lucky they got with this Senate leadership.
Remember, stupidity always brings LOSING & DEATH!”
He pressed Thune, who controls the Senate calendar, not to allow the Senate to depart this coming Friday on August 7, nonetheless, trying to stay positive about Thune (despite his inaction), the President told reporters:
“I have a good relationship with John Thune…
We got to get the SAVE America Act passed.
Or better than that would be [nuking] the filibuster.”

Senate conservatives led by Mike Lee (R-UT) want Thune to cancel the August recess so the chamber can debate the SAVE America Act, President Trump’s top legislative priority. Lee posted on social media:
“The Senate doesn’t need a summer vacation as much as the country needs the SAVE America Act.
Let’s cancel recess.”
In a following message, he wrote,
“I hereby object to any effort [by Thune] to put the Senate into recess in August—
at least until such time as the Senate has passed the SAVE America Act—
and hereby request a roll call vote.
Do not assume you have my consent.
You do not.”

Under Senate practice, a recess proceeds by unanimous consent; an objection by a single senator can force a floor vote, by which a simple majority of 51 votes would uphold or cancel the scheduled August recess. Senators Susan Collins (ME), Jon Husted (OH) and Dan Sullivan (AK) all face competitive reelection contests and want time at home to campaign. Several other Republicans have echoed Lee’s demand to remain in session through Labor Day. .
Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) posted: “I stand with Senator Mike Lee. I will vote to stay in session unless we
have passed the SAVE America Act. The American people expect us to deliver. They deserve secure elections.”
Senator Ashley Moody (R-FL) (who is running for a 2nd term in November) stated: “I didn’t come to the United States Senate because I needed something to do. I’m serving because there are things we need to get done for the American People. The Senate needs to stay in session until we can get the SAVE America Act to the floor and passed.”
Senator Jim Banks (R-IN) said: “I’m all for it. We don’t need a recess. Let’s pass the Save America Act. It’s more important than taking a break,” adding that his constituents have repeatedly urged passage of the measure.

The Senate has already devoted weeks of floor time to the measure and voted on it, in whole or in part, at least five times without approaching the 60 votes required to break the Democrat filibuster. No Democrat supports it. An earlier attempt to attach the legislation to a budget reconciliation package failed when Senators Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Thom Tillis (R-NC), Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Susan Collins (R-ME) opposed an amendment offered by then-Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC). Despite President Trump’s attempts to cooperate with Thune, tensions between them continue to rise, as Thune indicated he may withhold the House-passed budget resolution, Reconciliation 3.0, that would open a path for the SAVE America Act measure through reconciliation. The “continuously problematic” Senate parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough ruled that the measure does not satisfy the rules governing reconciliation, particularly the Byrd Rule, prompting President Trump to call for her removal. The authority to remove (or replace) MacDonough rests exclusively with the Senate Majority Leader, John Thune. The presiding officer of the Senate, Vice President JD Vance, can overrule a specific ruling of the Parliamentarian on the floor, such as a Byrd Rule objection, but that is separate from removing her from the position. According to the official description of the office, the Parliamentarian is “appointed by and serves at the discretion of the majority leader.” Therefore, no one else can unilaterally remove the parliamentarian; Majority Leader Thune holds the sole authority to remove MacDonough. Pray.
The August recess, the longest in the Congressional calendar, is scheduled from August 10–September 11… less than a week away. However, some senators are planning to break even earlier…by this Friday, August 7, which even more sharply narrows the practical legislative window for the SAVE America Act to pass before the traditional break. What gall! That a US Senator (particularly by those not up for reelection this year) would even consider taking their vacation early under these circumstances! It underscores either the defiant opposition or laissez-faire attitude Senators on both sides of the aisle unapologetically carry about passing the SAVE America Act. Thune’s argument that Senators need to go back to support their reelection campaigns doesn’t hold water, as the principal way any senator could strengthen their reelection campaign, in an honest election, is the one Thune is trying to avoid: passing the SAVE America Act. Pray.
We pray:
Proof of citizenship, photo ID, and stronger mail-in ballot rules should be non-negotiables! Let Majority Leader John Thune align with President Trump, cancel the August recess and remain in session, remove the Parliamentarian and advance the SAVE America Act, either through a standing filibuster, abolishing the filibuster, or budget reconciliation…and secure our elections. If he refuses, let him be removed from Senate leadership and replaced by a leader who will serve the nation! Pray.
That President Trump’s demands be met: to terminate the Senate filibuster, cancel the August recess, and pass the SAVE America Act by whatever legislative means are necessary. Give us the assurance of secure US elections as obstacles (the filibuster, reconciliation barriers under the Byrd Rule, and resistance by RINO Senators and the parliamentarian) are overcome, so that the SAVE America Act may be passed. Pray.
That the people of our nation will stand alongside President Trump, and remain engaged in this BATTLE TO SAVE AMERICA until VICTORY is won! Pray.
Protect, strengthen, and cover our 24/7 family in the Blood of Jesus. Bring in mature Christian men and women, and call the younger generation to this assignment with us, as we pray for our President and our beloved nation! Prepare us for our NEXT STEPS in this Battle to Save America! Pray.
