For us to receive and put on the Ephesians 6 “full armor of God” as we begin each hour,
that we might be protected as we continue to “stand in the gap” for our beloved country!
Pray.
The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly
for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump,
and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for his protection and ask that he be led by the Holy Spirit
so that he will discern truth and act for the good of the nation.
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage and family, and cover them all with the Blood of Jesus.
We also pray for the protection of members of this Administration,
especially those in the Cabinet, and law enforcement agencies, such as ICE, FBI, CBP, et al.
Pray.
For those leaders that God has anointed, appointed, and elected,
as they take their places in the governments of each state and in our nation’s Capitol!
May they work together to clean up corruption in our government and restore our electoral system.
Pray.
For God’s blessing and intervention in the life of Joe Hoft and his family,
bringing a miraculous resolution to the issues threatening and attacking him!
Pray.
We will now spend the next 10 minutes praying for President Trump,
focusing our prayers against any demonic attacks against his physical body,
in particular, the issuance of the demonic decree (“fatwa”) by the Iranian Ayatollah,
calling on Muslims to take his life.
Let him remain in good health, so he can serve his entire 4-year term as our 47th US President!

AND THE RESTORATION OF OUR FOUNDING PRINCIPLES – PART 291

We pray again today for the US Supreme Court, as the Justices consider the merits of the arguments regarding tariffs. Having become unentangled from the “bondage” placed upon our nation by unfair trade practices, we pray that the Justices will uphold our nation’s liberty…and rule in President Trump’s favor.
Just a few days after the US Supreme Court heard oral arguments in two combined cases regarding tariffs (Learning Resources, Inc. v. Trump and Trump v. V.O.S. Selections, Inc.), legal observers and political commentators are parsing judicial comments made during the hearing over President Trump’s use of broad IEEPA tariffs. Justices pressed administration lawyers on the breadth of executive authority, questioning whether a 50-year trade deficit truly constitutes an “unusual and extraordinary threat” warranting economy-wide duties on imports from over 100 countries.
Justice Barrett questioned the inclusion of allies like Spain and France in the tariff net, asking, “If the threat is truly from adversaries like China, why sweep in our NATO partners with these blanket tariffs? It risks turning a targeted tool into an indiscriminate tax on American consumers.”
Justice Gorsuch probed the Solicitor General: “Congress didn’t hand the President a blank check to redefine emergencies as chronic trade woes—this smacks of unbounded executive fiat, encroaching on legislative turf like a shadow tax without representation.”
Chief Justice John Roberts remarked, “Tariffs may start as a foreign policy lever, but they end as a tax on the American consumer at the grocery store and gas pump—does IEEPA empower the Executive to levy such burdens unilaterally, bypassing Congress’s purse strings?”
We pray that, when taken into consideration, the positive effects of tariffs, along with our historical use of them, will overcome all negatives and lead to SCOTUS ruling for the President! Pray.
Defending the tariffs (which have raked in over $90 billion since early 2025), the Trump administration focused on national security goals, like countering fentanyl flows and trade imbalances. The tariffs’ role in fostering national and international fiscal responsibility was emphasized, as they argued they are essential to repatriate manufacturing jobs lost to offshoring, revive domestic supply chains, and generate sustainable revenue streams to curb the ballooning $35 trillion national debt (which has been exacerbated over 50 years by unfair trade imbalances that hollowed out U.S. industry and fueled chronic deficits.) Removal of these Presidential tariffs would severely hamper the America First economic recovery and the dawn of the Golden Age of America, stalling momentum in wage growth, factory revivals and energy independence, while derailing the Trump administration’s promised tariff dividend checks (direct rebates from collected duties averaging $1,000 per household to offset costs and reward American workers), leaving families without this tangible boost and exposing the economy to renewed offshoring predation.

In the short term, President Trump’s tariff policies may seem like growing pains, feeling like a tax burden on American businesses through higher input costs, but over time, they promise to bolster U.S. manufacturing, (fostering high-quality American-made products that compete with or surpass foreign alternatives, restoring jobs to communities hit hard by globalization while curbing the free hemorrhage of U.S. intellectual property to adversarial nations like China, where offshoring has long gifted sensitive technologies without reciprocity.) Striking down the tariffs would reverse these gains, prolonging economic stagnation and undermining the self-reliance central to America’s resurgence, as foreign competitors flood markets unchecked and domestic innovation is siphoned away to adversarial economies without protective incentives.

President Trump has spoken of this Supreme Court ruling as a matter of “life or death” for the nation’s economy and national security. Although he said, “We thought we did very well yesterday”, he clearly indicated that a Plan B was not his preference. That would involve narrower tools: Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962, which allows the President to restrict imports deemed a threat to US defense capabilities (like steel and aluminum, critical for military hardware), and Section 301 tariffs. Both options operate at a snail’s pace, requiring investigations (often lasting several months) before they can be enforced. Plan B tariffs would be riddled with red tape and time delays, contrasting with an affirmative ruling by SCOTUS, where the Presidential tariffs can continue to be implemented immediately with IEEPA emergency declarations.

President Trump employed aggressive tariff IEEPA strategies to force negotiations and consequently accomplished 12 major trade deals in 2025, focusing on reciprocal tariff reductions, market access, and supply chain commitments. Without the intermediary threat of immediate, broad presidential tariffs to force concessions at the bargaining table, it would be an uphill climb to accomplish or renegotiate any further trade deals, like a USMCA update or a Phase Two China pact. Yesterday, the President touted tariffs’ decisive role in negotiating and establishing crucial trade deals:
“Don’t forget, two months ago, it looked like the whole world was in trouble over rare earth,
and that’s no longer even a subject that people talk about. It was all worked out very quickly.
Without tariffs, I couldn’t have done it.”
Pray.
We pray:
That the Lord would convict each of the Supreme Court Justices to tear down any wall of skepticism, so that they will NOT consider reversing President Trump’s current tariff policy. Pray.
That, at the minimum, there will be a 5-4 ruling in President Trump’s favor…and in particular, Justices Gorsuch, Roberts, and Barrett will cite historical legal and constitutional grounds to rule FOR the President, thus preventing trade wars and enabling US agriculture and manufacturing to thrive. Pray.
That the people of our nation will stand alongside President Trump, and remain engaged in this BATTLE TO SAVE AMERICA until VICTORY is won! Pray.
Protect, strengthen, and cover our 24/7 family in the Blood of Jesus against all warfare and witchcraft. Bring in new intercessors, Godly men and women of the next generation, who are called to this assignment with us, to pray for our President and our beloved nation! Prepare us for our NEXT STEPS in this Battle to Save America! Pray.
