Oct 19, 2025 – Prayer Focus
Sunday, October 19. 2025 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call
“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”
1-712-770-4340 Code: 543555 # (Ongoing call…24 hours a day!)
We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!
“Many people shall come and say,
‘Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob;
He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths.’
For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.”
Isaiah 2:3
We sing: I Just Want to be Where You Are
I just want to be where You are, dwelling daily in Your Presence.
I don’t want to worship from afar, draw me near to where You are.
I just want to be where You are, in Your dwelling place forever.
Take me to the place where You are, I just want to be with You!
I want to be where You are, dwelling in Your Presence feasting at Your table, surrounded by Your glory.
In Your Presence that’s where I always want to be.
I just want to be…I just want to be…I just want to be with You!
Oh, God, You are my strength and my song
and when I’m in Your Presence, though I’m weak, You’re always strong.

For us to receive and put on the Ephesians 6 “full armor of God” as we begin each hour,
that we might be protected as we continue to “stand in the gap” for our beloved country!
We thank You for the successful completion of the assignment in China.
Thank You for all those who were interceding, covering the onsite team in prayer, and for our 5 valiant warriors as they begin their journey home!
Pray.
The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly
for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump,
and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for his protection and ask that he be led by the Holy Spirit
so that he will discern truth and act for the good of the nation.
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage and family, and cover them all with the Blood of Jesus.
Pray.
For those leaders that God has anointed, appointed, and elected,
as they take their places in the governments of each state and in our nation’s Capitol!
May they work together to clean up corruption in our government and restore our electoral system.
Pray.
For God’s blessing and intervention in the life of Joe Hoft and his family,
bringing a miraculous resolution to the issues threatening and attacking him!
Pray.
We will now spend the next 10 minutes praying for President Trump,
focusing our prayers against any demonic attacks against his physical body,
in particular, the issuance of the demonic decree (“fatwa”) by the Iranian Ayatollah,
calling on Muslims to take his life.
Let him remain in good health, so he can serve his entire 4-year term as our 47th US President!
Pray.
Strategic Focus for Sunday
WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
ENGAGING IN A WARFARE OF LOVE, PRAYING FOR THE SALVATION OF OUR NATION
AND THE RESTORATION OF OUR FOUNDING PRINCIPLES – PART 271
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world,
that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,
having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.”
Ephesians 1:3-6
Throughout American history, National Days of Prayer and Fasting have been proclaimed during times of Crisis to seek Divine guidance and national renewal, often marked by humility and repentance. These observances trace back to the Founding Fathers, with President John Adams calling for such days on May 8th, 1798, and April 25th, 1799, amid tensions with France during the Quasi-War. At the Senate’s request, President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed April 30th 1863, as a day of “national humiliation, fasting and prayer” to seek God’s mercy amid the intense bloodshed, division and strife near the height of the Civil war, shortly after the Union’s devastating defeat at Fredericksburg and the Battle of Antietam, which still remains today as the bloodiest day in American history, while not an annual event today, these historic calls by the president reflect a tradition of collective spiritual repentance, renewal, and revival during moments of national crisis, distinct from the modern National Day of Prayer established in 1952. On this Lord’s Day, let us read and pray into Dutch Sheets Give Him 15 post: “The Important Connection.”

Joshua 1:2. Moses was dead. It was bittersweet, for he was the great leader who led them out of slavery with amazing signs and wonders, and the last of a generation that had to die before the next generation was allowed to stop wandering in the desert and living in tents. Israel’s inheritance awaited them – nice cities, homes, gardens, and more. After his death, they could possess this inheritance. Moses was gone, and his spiritual son, Joshua, was about to take over for him. In three days, He would lead this chosen nation into the Promised Land. For over four hundred years, this had all been in the works. It started with Abraham, whom God chose to help Him redeem fallen humankind; the Messiah would come through his offspring. As a thank you, God promised him some land. Abraham and his descendants would have to wait for the land. Yahweh wouldn’t simply take it from its current occupants and give it to him. In His justice, He would wait until the sins of the inhabitants reached a level that justified it, “But in the fourth generation they shall return here, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete.” Genesis 15:16 It was time! As the torch was passed from Moses to Joshua, America is also in a time of transition. Seats are being switched, batons are being passed, and both young leaders and elder generals have been called home. As our nation undergoes a solemn moment of passing the torch, a National Day of Prayer and Fasting called by President Trump would mark a pivotal moment for our nation to seek God’s mercy. Pray.
What should be done to prepare for the momentous fulfillment of this great four-hundred-year-old promise? Four centuries is a long wait. Certainly, something very special should be done over the next three days to celebrate and prepare. Should they fast? Pray? Worship nonstop for the next seventy-two hours? Throw a three-day party? Whatever we do, they probably thought it needed to be monumental. There was a lot of packing to do, but a very important spiritual assignment was given in order to prepare for this historical crossing over. “Qadash yourselves,” Joshua said, “for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you” Joshua 3:5 . Qadash is an important Hebrew word meaning “to set apart.” In biblical contexts, it was most often used as being “set apart UNTO God.” Qadash is separation UNTO…often translated as “sanctify” or “consecrate,” but the Biblical concept of qadash is simply “to separate and set apart a person or object unto God.” Setting something apart to God meant it was dedicated to or reserved for Him. For example, furniture and utensils in the temple were qadash-ed to God, meaning they were not to be used for any other purpose. The same was true with people. The Israelites were to be qadash-ed to God – they must not give themselves to the worship of other gods. According to Dutch Sheets, before there is national deliverance and revival, when we are called out of Egypt and take the “Promised Land”, there is a “qadash”, a setting apart, a consecration, at a communal and even individual level. At a communal and individual level, we need “qadash”, a deeply personal act of setting ourselves apart unto God. At a national level, America needs “qadash”. We need our President to call for a National Day of Prayer and Fasting, preparing our nation to receive Almighty GOD’s wonders by humbling ourselves through collective repentance and consecration. Pray.
On special occasions, the Israelites were often asked by God to qadash themselves to Him, drawing near in an extra special way. This would be like a husband and wife getting away for a day or two, perhaps even for a vacation, to separate themselves from other activities and spend extra, quality time connecting with one another. The key to truly understanding God’s heart in the use of qadash is the “unto Him” aspect. We have made sanctification and consecration religious and legalistic, interpreting them as separating ourselves FROM certain activities. This is inaccurate; they are actually relational concepts. A poor understanding of this has hindered our connection to the Lord. Consecration is for connection. In the same way that the wedding vow is relational, so is spiritual sanctification. The Lord’s request to Joshua and the Israelites before this monumental occasion was simple: “Draw near to Me. Let’s celebrate this new day by celebrating one another’s company.” How refreshing is that! The battle of the Bride and for the Bride continues. The Church needs “qadash”. “Like a husband and wife getting away for a day or two… to separate themselves from other activities and spend extra, quality time connecting with one another”, President Trump calling for a National Day of Prayer and Fasting would be a chance for the Bride, the Church, particularly the American Church, to renew her wedding vows, reaffirming her deep, covenantal connection to the Bridegroom. Pray.
Interestingly, the Old Testament word for “holy” is qodesh (a derivative of qadash). Like sanctification, being holy doesn’t mean to be separated “from sin,” but rather separated “unto God.” Inanimate objects were actually called “holy” (qodesh) in Scripture, as were places and days. Obviously, this was not because they hadn’t sinned. It was due to the fact that they had been “set apart to God” (qadash). Holiness isn’t defined by sinlessness! It is defined as “belonging to God.” As for those who have not backslidden, who are not walking in sin, who have already consecrated themselves, the remnant still need “qodesh”, a deeper separation from a sinful world. Yes, even the most faithful of America need a National Day of Prayer and Fasting, an individual, communal and national “qodesh” to renew our nation’s pursuit of holiness, setting aside worldly distractions to go even deeper into His divine purpose for our land. Pray.
It is comforting to know that my relationship with God centers not around my outward performance but my inward heart. I’d rather reach toward God than run from sin. I’ll take a God Who wants me more than my good works any day. There’s a vast difference between performing for acceptance and performing from acceptance. God has already “accepted” us through Christ’s sacrifice, “by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.” Ephesians 1:6. Connect with Him. Celebrate His love and acceptance, allowing the power of His purity to flow through you. Then, like Joshua and the Israelites, prepare to move into your glorious future, found through your union with Him. According to Romans 8, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” President Trump calling for a National Day of Prayer and Fasting would not be a condemnation of our spiritual condition but rather a national call to not put our trust in constitutional democracy, secular humanism, performance-based religion, or even American military might, but to ultimately rest in God’s grace, in heartfelt pursuit of His presence and purpose. Pray.
We pray:
We declare that we will pursue You, Lord, drawing near with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Lord, help us to keep our walk with You simple, resting in Your grace and trusting in Your love. Keep us from striving toward perfection in our own strength. We pray that President Trump would call for a solemn National Day of Prayer and Fasting, so that we are able to declare these truths at a national level of unity. Pray.
As we draw near to You, Father, we are confident that Your life will flow through us to others. You will do for us as You did for Israel, working wonders through and for us. We also pray, once again, that our Commander-In-Chief would call for a solemn National Day of Prayer and Fasting, so that we are able to draw near at a national level of unity. It is in Jesus’ name that we receive this now! Pray.
That the people of our nation will stand alongside President Trump, and remain engaged in this BATTLE TO SAVE AMERICA until VICTORY is won! Pray.
Protect and strengthen our 24/7 family and bring in new intercessors, in particular, Godly men and those of the next generation who are called to this assignment with us, to pray for our President and our beloved nation! Prepare us for our NEXT STEPS in this Battle to Save America! Pray.
