09-12-25 Notes from the “International SHABBAT Celebration”
24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call
As we began this evening’s call, Maureen said this is a sober time in our nation as we grieve the loss of Charlie Kirk, those who died on 911, and on a personal level for Pastor Ioan, who is at home in Romania with his son David, observing the 12th anniversary of the passing of Ps Ioan’s wife, Miruna. SHALOM be with them both!
Maureen reminded us that none of us is guaranteed “tomorrow.” Numerous tragedies…, the murder of the 23-year-old girl on public transit in Charlotte, NC, the cold-blooded assassination of Charlie Kirk, followed by Thursday’s commemoration of what took place 24 years ago on .“9-11….”September 11, 2001…as Islamic terrorists flew hijacked planes into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in NYC, the Pentagon, and a field in Somerset County, PA, taking the lives of 2,977 Americans, injuring many more. There have also been continuing deaths of first responders who were on site in the Twin Towers wreckage. It’s a tragedy when things like this take place! Maureen said she loved listening to Charlie’s simple, heartfelt, reasoned comments as he unashamedly debated and defended his Christian values. She believes that his life is like a seed that’s fallen into the ground, which will be multiplied and bring forth a huge harvest. We’ll be going deeply into these matters tonight, but first, as always, let us put on the armor God has provided to equip us in the battle!
Sandy (TX) led us in praying Ephesians 6 verses, putting on the full armor of God!
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.“

Turning our attention back to Charlie Kirk’s life and mission, he had recently posted this message.
“Assassination culture is spreading on the left. 48% of liberals say it would be at least somewhat justified to murder Elon Musk. 55% said the same about Donald Trump. In California activists are naming ballot measures after Luigi Mangione. The left is being whipped into a violent frenzy, any setback, whether losing an election or losing a court case, justifies a maximally violent response. This is the natural outgrowth of left-wing protest culture, tolerating violence and mayhem for years on end . The cowardice of local prosecutors and school officials has turned the left into a ticking time bomb.”
Unfortunately, on Wednesday, Charlie became a visual aid for what he wrote!
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His martyrs! His blood, and the blood of all martyrs, is crying out!
Maureen shared a vision she had of Charlie carrying a banner (flag), leading a charge on the battlefield. When he was shot and fell, the flag also went down, only to be picked up by another young person, who held it high and continued to lead the charge. There were thousands behind him. This may well be the spark that ignites a new era with our youth in this country…a real “Turning Point!”
Yesterday, after Charlie Kirk was pronounced dead, the New York Times called Pastor Jackson Lahmeyer (a friend of Charlie’s and founder of Pastors for Trump) to ask what he was feeling and thought. To his surprise, when the article was released yesterday, the NY Times actually gave great honor to Charlie Kirk rather than disparaging him like Lahmeyer assumed they would. Here is the article:

“I am praying that Charlie’s death will not be in vain but will really mark a Turning Point in the United States for good. Could this be a moment where we all come together? I want to share something with you that was forwarded to me that I think will bless you.
The Cross Still Offends
The bullet tore the air in half. A folding chair rattled. A Bible dropped.
A young man slumped sideways beneath a white event tent, eyes wide with the weight of eternity.
It was supposed to be a conversation…a “prove me wrong” segment,
but this time, rebuttal came not with words, but with a rifle.
Charlie Kirk didn’t get to finish his sentence.
I got the news just before prayer meeting. I contemplated this death as I prepared to lead the saints in prayer. But I didn’t feel like praying. Not tonight. My hands were still. My mouth was ready. But my soul was pacing. Angry. Grieving. Tempted. Tempted to grow quiet. Tempted to sit this one out. Tempted to wonder if any of this, faith, boldness, public gospel witness, is still worth it. Because hatred in this country isn’t simmering anymore. It is boiling.
Europe is trembling. Israel is burning. Rockets lit the sky over Gaza again. And now, here on American soil, the blood of a Christian apologist paints the pavement of a university quad. What do you do with that? What do you say when courage gets gunned down in daylight?
Charlie Kirk was no perfect man. None of us are. But he had backbone where most of us don’t anymore. He was a believer. Unashamed. Unafraid. He understood that real conversations only happen when truth is welcome at the table. And the truth he carried most was Christ. He brought the gospel into public space on purpose. Because the gospel isn’t supposed to stay in church basements and private Bible studies. It is meant to confront. It is supposed to offend. It was not made for safety. The Word became flesh and they nailed Him to a tree.
So of course they came for Charlie. Of course they reached for a gun. This is what evil does when it runs out of arguments. It doesn’t reason. It kills. That’s the part that catches in my throat. Not just the sadness, but the strategy of hell behind it. The Enemy wants us afraid. He wants us to see what happened to Charlie and backpedal. He wants the rest of us to whisper, to soften the message, to believe the lie that faith should stay private.
But Christ never whispered. He preached in temples, on hillsides, in courtrooms, at dinner tables. And when they told Him to be quiet, He picked up His cross. Not a symbolic one. A real one. Heavy. Bloody. Splintered. When Jesus said, “Follow Me,” He didn’t hand out maps. He handed out crosses. That’s what I remembered tonight.
I sat in our prayer space, surrounded by saints who had brought prayer lists and worn Bibles. And I realized I didn’t want to lead them in mourning. I wanted to lead them into battle. Not with banners or fists, but with open Bibles and tear-stained prayers. The kind of war that kneels in gravel beside the wounded, hands them living water, and refuses to leave. The kind that speaks both mercy and judgment without flinching. The kind Charlie died for.
This world is not a friend to grace. But grace isn’t fragile. “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?” Paul didn’t leave that question unanswered. “Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?” Romans 8:35 He piles up every fear you and I carry and then sets them on fire. “No. In all these things we are more than conquerors.” That means bullets don’t win. Slander doesn’t win. Prison bars don’t win. Death doesn’t win. You can lose everything in this world and still walk into glory with your head lifted high. Because the love of God in Christ Jesus isn’t suspended by headlines or gunfire.
There are two worlds unfolding right now. The one you see. And the one you don’t. One is filled with chaos. The other is filled with crowns. I believe that when Charlie Kirk’s body slumped to the concrete, his soul stood upright in heaven. Not limping. Not silenced. Not stunned. But crowned. He didn’t fall. He crossed. The great cloud of witnesses gained another voice. And I wonder if Stephen met him there. The first martyr.The man who got stoned for preaching what the crowd didn’t want to hear. The man who, in his final breath, saw the heavens open. The only time in all of Scripture we see Jesus standing at the right hand of God, rising to receive one of His own.
I like to believe He stood again.
Are you afraid? Do you feel the tremble in your spirit? Do you wonder if it’s still worth it to speak boldly, to carry your Bible, to preach the gospel in a world that doesn’t just disagree but wants you gone? You’re not alone. You’re not weak for feeling that. But you are called to something stronger than silence. Don’t let fear become your theology. The cost is high. But the reward? The reward is Christ. And He’s not a concept. He’s a King.
Heaven is not empty. It is filled with scarred saints who refused to bow to fear. Men who were stoned. Women who were burned. Children who sang while the flames climbed. And every last one of them arrived.
There is no difficulty that can cancel the promise of God. There is no persecution that can derail your destination. There is no sniper’s bullet that can separate a soul from Christ. Your life is not measured by how long you live on earth, but by how much of it was spent pointing to heaven. Paul said, “I have fought the good fight… I have kept the faith.” Then he looked toward the reward. Not a monument. Not a mention in history books. But a crown. Handed to him by the One with nail marks still in His hands.
So let me say this clearly. We do not mourn like the world mourns. We do not write eulogies dripping with sentiment. We sing songs of resurrection. We carry the banner of a Kingdom that does not tremble.
Charlie Kirk did not die for nothing. He died carrying the same message you and I must now carry forward. The cross stands tall. The tomb is still empty. And the gospel has not lost one ounce of power.
So pick up your cross. Wipe your eyes. And keep going. The crown is worth it. The King is coming. And there’s still time to speak. Even if they shoot. Lord, give us courage. And if not safety, give us joy. For we carry not just the message, but the marks. And You are worth every bruise.”

As with the phrase “I AM SPARTACUS”…so too, it’s now ”I AM CHARLIE KIRK!”
So now, we pray and move through this “valley”…without fear! What the devil wants is to strike fear into the hearts of our people, but God is with us, and although the devil intended evil, God will turn it for our good and for His glory!!! We paused…to remember…and asked God to be with Charlie’s wife, Erika, his childre,n Gigi and Jack, his family, his fellow workers at Turning Point, and all his followers.
We paused for a few moments of reflection, then Maureen invited us to share what is in our hearts.
Julie (NC) prayed that God would breathe the breath of life into this land and all our communities…and
that He will trust Him and he will trust us to speak His Word and share the gospel. Psalm 118:7 “America shall live and not die.”
Brad (DC) reflected on being at a TURNING POINT event in DC the day he died! He knows that many will stand in the gap now, as Charlie did.
Mary Ellen (IL) Charlie was at one of the schools there in Chicago, and the public schools there denied having a Chapter of TPUSA there! She then said we walk by faith…and feels it, but she thinks of Jesus with head bowed and Charlie looking up! They killed Jesus too, because He wouldn’t shut up, and Stephen was stoned…and greeted by Jesus when he entered heaven! The harvest will be great from this seed…and many thought he would one day be US President! People are realizing that the kids aren’t being taught debate, as the Founders did…they are just being programmed, indoctrinated….it must stop! She said that she heard Charlie on Salem Radio in the morning, giving a sermon, and he told pastors to talk to their congregations about current issues and educate them! She prayed that debate would spark truth, and it will arise!
Ydia (FL) we were at lunch that day it happened. I realize that though I know him, many do not! BUT NOW, there are many learning about him and seeing his video, and that he had much to say! He will be so much larger in death than in life, and that is really something!
Desiree (NY) she was at the 9-11 observance in NYC yesterday, carrying a flag, and honoring Charlie’s life and the lives of the 9-11 victims. I was the only one with a flag…I had to do it, and I didn’t care who liked it or not. I urge everyone not to be silent! I AM CHARLIE KIRK!
Debbie (TX) Maureen reminded us of the phrase “I AM SPARTACUS”, and now many are saying “I AM CHARLIE KIRK!” People from different parts of the culture are standing up for Charlie. She prayed we would be known for courage and trust in God, no matter the cost!
Bev (MT) shared Mark 10:45 “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”
Carol (IL) when this happened, we were all shocked and were mourning, and felt heavy in heart. I asked God why He didn’t save him. After I got my grief out, I was able to say I know You have a plan…and love YOU! It was hard, for he was so vital and touched the hearts of so many young people…and then he was gone! I have asked that God raise up other voices among the youth to touch the hearts of young people, turn their hearts to the Lord, and cause them to listen to Him, not the enemy! We trust You, Lord, and bless Charlie!
Kelley (MD) is en route home from a Turning Point event in a chapel at the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, and the crowd was packed! She prayed for the youth who were there tonight. According to “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 and the youth are finding their voices in a very liberal part of the country. Now they are able to have conversations they could not have before! What the devil tried to snuff out has only lit a bigger fire! IT’S time to take Maryland!
Janis (MA) has a friend in Bangalore, India who wrote her re: CK. “Such a great loss for young Americans and the world!… He is known here among the Christians, Hindus, and Muslims.”
Bobby (WI) expressed her appreciation for Governor Cox (R-Utah), who spoke his heart about this situation! Charlie named his organization Turning Point, and God will use this to wake up people to the degree of evil and lawlessness in our nation, so more and more will see it and no longer deny it. The element of unity is powerful, and it’s now painfully obvious that we must acknowledge the sovereignty of God!

Audrey (CA) Charlie’s organization was Turning Point, and we prayed it would be that here in the USA. Her pastor sent this note with prayer points to his flock.
First, let’s pray for the Good Shepherd to comfort Charlie Kirk’s wife and two young children —remembering Psalm 34:18, “The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” Second, let’s pray that God will raise up wise and courageous leaders who will punish evil, protect good, and promote righteousness.
Third, let’s pray for the gospel to advance through the tragedy of Charlie’s death. This was his aim in life. Just 4 days ago, Charlie posted this online: “Jesus defeated death so you can live.” Let’s boldly ask God to make that message reverberate to the very ends of the earth.
Fourth and finally, let’s make no mistake: Charlie Kirk was murdered because he was a conservative Christian. It would be appropriate for us to apply the words of Revelation 6:10 to what has taken place. May we cry out with the saints who have gone before us: “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” Revelation 6:10
My sister told me that her prayer group prayed the following from John 14:24 -”I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains [just one grain; it never becomes more but lives] by itself alone. But if it dies, it produces many others and yields a rich harvest.”
She thanked God for the life he lived and that his memory will live on through many others!

Al (NY) concerned about Christians being so pacifistic. Turning Point has classes on civics. He prayed for devout Christians who are well behaved, but in this one matter of civic involvement, they fall short! Send out those who will speak to them, teach them and inspire them to take a stand and speak out!
Bev (MT) prayed:
1- that Erika will be released from all pain of his loss and go on to do all God has for her!
2-that God would do a major work among the Mormons, bringing them to salvation!
We prayed corporately into these two items!
Angela (CA) yesterday, riding in her car, she saw Charlie Kirk standing with the Lord, having a conversation with him. Charlie turned around and waved. She said her daughters were devastated by the assassination, and she heard the Lord say: “THE KIRK EFFECT”, and that there would be a demolishing of the brainwashing of the youth in the colleges, and He will break off of them the hold the enemy has had on their minds. She quoted the verse: “The effectual prayer of the righteous avails much!” Charlie showed up and now he’s heard WELL DONE!
Kathy (VA) Annie (DC) daughter Audrey in labor now to deliver Noah (which means the Promise) She prayed for a smooth delivery. We prayed for her, then Bobby (WI) prayed new life and promise for Kathy!
Julie (NC) Jesus said He came for those who were sick…and that the Body of Christ should follow His example, and say and do what He saw the Father say and do. Charlie did that…and we must, too. She prayed into that…thanking God that we are empowered, and not to be negative or worried…we have the Bible, which is full of encouragement…and Charlie and Erika took hold of it…and soared! He had such a heart for this generation that he was willing to go into places others shunned. He went to where the youth were and reached them! Mark 16 and Matthew 28 shared the instruction of the Great Commission…and what we are to do! She thanked God for the 24/7 ministry and for Maureen and Ps Ioan’s leadership in providing this space for us to gather and pray.
Debbie (TX) Erika Kirk just addressed the nation, and Deb took notes. She said every day, Charlie prayed that God would make him a better father and husband. He told her that if he ever ran for office, he would run on a platform to restore the family! She said his message will not die, but only become stronger…the conference in December will go on, the radio show will go on…and that he would never surrender/ His favorite word was EARN…and they would get louder than ever before! She told her 3 year old that “Daddy was on a work trip with Jesus!” and invited people to join TP and to join a Bible believing church.

Ydia (FL) You shared that story of your father entering heaven and his reception there last Wednesday. I had a dream when my Mother passed, and she was with Jesus on her birthday!

We agree with and uphold President Trump’s statement to free Tina Peters
and continue to stand with all J6ers and their families until we see them free,
returned to their lives and loved ones, and compensated for the injustices they have suffered!

Praise reports: In the spirit of Charlie Kirk, we received this wonderful praise report from Sam Dial (TN). He joyfully shared that the unified prayer, the strategies, and the 24/7 participants have changed our lives. We get to read the Word and pray together, and as we close each hour, we get excited, because revival is upon us…and it’s “Heart to heart!” It prepared me for what I’m about to share. He has been discipling a group of young men, and one young lady and they were all just baptized in a beautiful river in TN. It started with a young man (Sam, 22) that he encouraged to read the Bible through with him daily. He did that for a year, then began meeting at the YMCA…then he took Sam through a program that introduced him to multiple doctrines for another year. Over the last 3 years, many young men have come, and wanted to be part, and they brought others. And “Big” Sam was invited to speak to other groups. When the topic of baptism came up, “Big’ Sam asked if they had received the Lord, and led them in salvation, and they wanted to be baptized. He charged them NOT to receive any other gospel but the Gospel of Jesus Christ!. WHAT DISCIPLESHIP! It’s called “Operation Timothy”!
Sam said that the 24/7 has brought revival to his soul, and has changed him and Teddi (his lovely wife). Prayer is the connection to the WORD, and it was the missing link in his life…and that came to him through the 24/7.

Rosanna (ME) She reads the Bible through each year, but how does he do it with them together?
Sam (TN) he buys them a Bible and a highlighter, and they read it every day. When they meet on Tuesdays at the YMCA, they go to the next chapter in Operation Timothy.
Nadine (TX) this past Saturday was “Pray at the Heart of Texas”, in Brady, at the center of TX. She joined the 24/7 TX SPC and they were praying for revival to wash across the land, and the prayer at Brady was syncing! Allan Parker was there, and she told him about the meshing of the two groups!
Cindy (SC) this is like the movie “THE FORGE” which is also about youth and a prayer group that was forged.
Sam prayed that many would be encouraged and step up to disciple youth, teach them the Word, and Worship, and how to ABIDE IN CHRIST and HIS Word! He prayed that we would rise up and, like Charlie Kirk, teach and mentor the youth of our nation!
Following their baptisms, they all went out to eat at a restaurant and took this picture. What a joy to see!!!
We invited Teddi (Sam’s wife) to share her reflections about what Sam is doing with the youth! She shared how joyous it is to see the youth bringing others in with them, and then she said that her own daughter was deeply impacted by Charlie’s death! She even said she is listening to Trump and thinks he is making sense. She prayed in gratitude for all God is doing in this nation! People everywhere are holding memorial services for Charlie, and hearts are being turned to Jesus through this.
Stephanie (TX) has been reading a lot about this in INFOWARS and GATEWAY PUNDIT, and that the
message is even going to be greater and louder, and people are more motivated to speak. The evil is to
create fear and create chaos all over! BUT WE ARE BEING SUCCESSFUL, and the world is turning to
Jesus!

Bobby (WI) said Korea and Greece love him…and are on fire for this TP movement!
Angela (CA) prayed for the young people who are upset, mad, and do not understand why this happened! She is grateful for the Word on the KIRK EFFECT, and she prayed for the youth who are so upset over this murder. She asked that the hearts of the youth would be touched and they would understand that they have been left a legacy by Charlie…who taught them that Jesus is the ONLY WAY!
Maureen exhorted us to stand up, speak out, and not be afraid!
Mary Ellen (IL) this was like “the shot heard round the world”… it is! This is going across the globe! God is using Charlie to set this off!
Anita (NJ) she saw videos of some youth who were cursing and cheering the death of Charlie…and she
prayed that the veil would be removed from them so they would know the truth and be set free!
Maureen said we prayed that the shooter repent and be saved, even though he will need to pay the ultimate price!
Bernadette (NY) asked for prayer for her son, who has a migraine. Justin needs to come back to the Lord…We prayed for both of them… for healing and for her full and complete recovery.
