Honoring those Serving Our Nation

 “First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, 

so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all goodness and dignity. 

This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 

who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

1 Timothy 2:1-4

Strategic Targets for today: 

In a world where dishonor abounds, our prayer focus today is that we understand the power of Honor. God’s Word is full of counsel on showing honor to one another, especially for those who lead and serve. We are under obligation to pray for our king, in our case, our President. Nowhere does it speak that more clearly them here in 1 Timothy 2:1-4. Let us be diligent to pray for all those in leadership, whether they serve in government or in the church, we are to honor all those who serve.

Pray for our President and Vice President

Pray for all those in Authority

Pray for those serving in the Military

Pray for a greater understanding of how to live in a Culture of Honor
