Transitioning from Darkness into the Light

All His Promises are Yes and Amen – What you Vow, do you do?

Not one of the good promises which the LORD had made to the house of Israel failed; all came to pass

Joshua 21:45

As we move into a deeper level of intimacy with God, His very nature begins to consume and transform us. Holiness is only one facet of His character; loyalty and keeping His promises are powerful attributes that further define Him.

As members of the Body of Christ, the ekklesia, the sons and daughters of God, we are bound by holy covenant; elected officials are bound by the oaths they take. We are fervently praying for the men and women who will be selected to serve in this new administration…people who will walk uprightly and keep their promises. We are interceding for those who will be positioned in seats in the Cabinet and as Presidential advisors…that they would be faithful… authentic… people of integrity who will be true to their oaths and honor their pledges!

Let us consider these questions:

Have we earned the right to require our leaders to be truthful, to keep their promises and not forsake their oaths?

Are we people who keep our promises…honor our pledges…and can others trust us to do so?

Is our oath our bond?

Let us look into ourselves and examine our actions before we call others to a standard we ourselves may have failed to uphold! As we recognize and acknowledge our own condition… individually and in the Church… let us see any darkness cast out as we flood it with the LIGHT of Christ. As we turn away from failure, we will move forward with God on behalf of our nation… walking in the Light as He is in the LIGHT! AMEN!

Key scriptures: 2 Corinthians 1:20 2 Peter 1:1-8 Ecclesiastes 5:4-5 Deuteronomy 23:21-23

Basic instructions: Please read each scripture one at a time, expounding on it, drawing on the revelation being made! After praying over it, as the Holy Spirit leads, move on to the next scripture doing the same. Please do this each hour as the Holy Spirit will release deeper revelations and greater understanding into the character and nature of God.

Please use the console when able and ask individuals to identify themselves when they pray.

Please do not ask for a roll call at the beginning of your session as it uses time we could spend on praying.

 ~~~
Let God’s LIGHT penetrate the darkness and do not focus on the darkness, but rather on how all is being brought out into the LIGHT.
