and for instructing and guiding him, giving him wisdom and filling him daily with Your Holy Spirit.

We bless his wife, our First Lady, Melania, their young son Barron and each of their family members,

especially Ivanka Trump, who serves as a Special Adviser to the President.

Cover our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family,

and all those in the Trump Administration who are serving You and our nation! Thank You, Father!

Strategic Focus for Thursday

WELCOMING THE KING OF GLORY into the United States

Justice and Righteousness are Being Established! Part 1

“But let justice run down like water, and righteousness like a mighty stream.”

Amos 5:24

Glory to God! A wave of righteousness is coming. Justice is being established! The tide is turning in our nation!

At the end of our Tuesday evening prayer on “A CALL TO THE WALL to Pray for our President”, we received a mandate from the Lord for 7 days of intercessory prayer on behalf of California for the June 5th primary election. We were also instructed to pray for the next 14 days regarding the upcoming summit with North Korea, scheduled for June 13th in Singapore…both of which we willingly agreed to!

Right after that call, a text was received saying: Landmark Case: California Judge Rules Christian Baker Does Not Have to Make Gay Wedding Cake! It was about a California judge who rendered a final decision in favor of a Christian baker who refused to bake a cake for a homosexual couple’s “wedding”.

The baker, Cathy Miller, refused because making the cake would have forced her to go against her deeply held Christian beliefs and endorse something with which she personally disagrees. She said that she loves everyone in God’s creation, but there are certain things that violated her conscience, and her conscience would not allow her to participate in things that she felt were wrong…based on scripture.

Last August, a lesbian couple, Mireya and Eileen Rodriguez-Del Rio ordered a wedding cake from Tastries Bakery, owned by Cathy Miller. She declined their request because of her staunch opposition to homosexuality. The couple filed a complaint with California’s Department of Fair Employment and Housing, arguing that the state’s Unruh Civil Rights Act should forbid businesses from refusing to provide services on the basis of sexual orientation…among other grounds.

County Superior Court Judge David Lampe found that Miller’s objection was distinctly religious, and therefore was protected by the First Amendment. In his decision, he wrote the following:

  • “The right to freedom of speech under the First Amendment outweighs the State’s interest in ensuring a freely accessible marketplace.
  • The right of freedom of thought guaranteed by the First Amendment includes the right to speak, and the right to refrain from speaking.
  • Miller was being compelled to “use her talents to design and create a cake with the knowledge that her work will be displayed in celebration of a marital union her religion forbids.”

The Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund (FCDF), a religious liberty organization, represented Miller. They argued that Cathy gladly serves everyone who walks through her bakery’s doors, including same-sex couples, but that she should not be forced by the government to express messages that conflict with her sincerely held religious beliefs. They were pleased the judge recognized that the First Amendment protects Cathy’s freedom of speech. Due to Judge Lampe’s ruling that Miller was the “prevailing” party, for purposes of the fight to recover litigation costs as permitted by law, her attorneys are seeking $438,000 in legal fees from the plaintiffs.

Colorado Baker Jack Phillips is fighting a very similar case, which is currently being reviewed by the Supreme Court of the United States. A ruling on his case is expected any day.

Let this be not only a landmark decision but also the beginning of the tide turning in the California court system!

  • Lord, will You cause other righteous judges to arise and take their stands for justice and truth.
  • We thank You for the decision in this case and for the judge allowing Cathy and her attorneys to recover litigation costs in this case. Let that be a major deterrent to others who dare to file such unjust law suits.
  • We pray for our brother, baker Jack Phillips from Colorado, whose case is now before the US Supreme Court! May SCOTUS rule in his favor as well! Thank You for being Lord over our judicial system and bringing it back into alignment with Your law!
  • We thank God for the way He is moving in California after being welcomed there. He is taking back this state and making the changes that are necessary to bring it to the fullness of its destiny in Christ!
  • We continue to pray for Franklin Graham as he conducts his Decision America! California Tour campaign in 10 cities throughout California, bringing Good News to the masses and salvation to the lost!

*** Being mindful of our commitment to pray for the upcoming summit with North Korea…we ask for both wisdom and discernment for our President today, as he reviews the preparatory work being done by the various US teams who are meeting in advance of his own meeting with Kim Jong Un.
