for the safety and security of our President and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!

We pray for the protection of our President, Donald Trump and cover him with the Blood of Jesus.

Thank You for instructing and guiding him, giving him wisdom through Your Holy Spirit.

We bless his wife, our First Lady, Melania, their young son Barron and each of their family members.

We also cover our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family with that Precious Blood,

and include all those in the Trump Administration who are serving You and our nation! Thank You, Father!

Strategic Focus for Friday

WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES

THIS MEANS WAR! Part 8

Reflecting on our History

“Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of Glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle.

Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.

Who is this King of Glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of Glory. Selah.”

 Psalm 24: 7-10

Beginning the week of the inauguration of 2017, the National Strategic Prayer Call family began proclaiming Psalm 24 as we welcomed the King of Glory back into our nation. This week during our time of fasting and prayer, we have once again repented for our national sins and asked that the sacred covenant made by our First President George Washington would once again be affirmed! When he was inaugurated, he led the members of that tiny Congress up the street to Saint Paul’s Chapel where they prayed that God would bless what He had birthed… the first nation in the world that would be a distinctly Christian nation. (Amazingly, Saint Paul’s Chapel, located on the corner of Ground Zero, was the only building left standing after 9/11.)

Today, the United States of America needs that same blessing to be renewed! As with Israel, we as a nation have sinned and broken covenant with God, but He loved Israel and time after time, when they came to their senses and repented, He took them back again. We, like Israel, the first nation established by God, are in need of His mercy and forgiveness, and as intercessors, we long to see our nation “back in our Father’s arms again”! God has continually rescued, protected and preserved this “piece of real-estate” until, in the “fullness of time”, He unfolds His plan of allowing the United States to be responsible for evangelizing the world for Him!

After the Reformation, and through the persecution of Christians, God provided this nation as a home for groups of believers who valued their “religious freedom” above their heritage, their family ties, and their homes. Many, like the Pilgrims, indentured themselves for 7 years, in order to be able to come to this new land and receive the promise of freedom to worship without governmental interference. Thus was the beginning of a nation.

On April 30th, 1789, after seeking God in prayer, our founders met to write the Constitution and develop this new form of government. On that day, the government, the House, and the Senate gathered for the Inauguration of our first President, George Washington. In his Inauguration Address, Washington gave a prophetic warning: “We ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious smiles of heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and the right which heaven itself has ordained.”

Washington’s warning was clear…if we departed from God,

He would remove His blessings, His prosperity and His protection from our nation.

After Washington’s address, members of the government, the House, the Senate, and America’s first President traveled on foot to Saint Paul’s Chapel for a national prayer meeting! No one knows exactly what was said inside, but we do know the entire government was on their knees praying and consecrating this nation to God in the chapel there, the spiritual birthplace of America. A plaque above Washington’s pew there is inscribed with the words:

“Almighty God, we make our earnest prayer that you will keep the United States in Holy protection.”

America’s first Presidential Inauguration incorporated seven specific religious activities, including:

  • the use of the Bible to administer the oath
  • affirming the religious nature of the oath by the adding the prayer “So help me God!” to the oath
  • inaugural prayers offered by the President
  • religious content in the inaugural address
  • civil leaders calling the people to prayer or acknowledgement of God
  • inaugural worship services attended by Congress as an official part of Congressional activities
  • clergy-led inaugural prayers

These Founding Fathers created three branches of governing bodies, the Executive Branch, Legislative Branch and Judicial Branch to have a balance of power. The pattern for that is found in Isaiah 33:22

“The Lord is our judge, the Lord is our Lawgiver, the Lord is our King; He will save us.”

According to Wallbuilders founder David Barton, 34% of the direct quotes of our Founders came directly from the Bible. It is evident they intended God to be the only King over our nation. John Jay, the first Supreme Court Justice said, “we should prefer only Christians as leaders.” Why? Because only a Christian can determine their positions and decisions through the eyes of “scripture” and “God’s leadership”.

God is the righteous Lawgiver: He is the JUST JUDGE Who Judges Justly. Scripture clearly represents Him as a righteous judge who is always just and fair.

“Righteousness and justice are the foundation of thy throne”

Psalms 89:14

“My judgment is just because I seek not my own will, but the will of him who sent me”

John 5:30

What a “stink” it must be in God’s nostrils to have men and women who sit in seats of authority dare to legislate unrighteously in a nation dedicated to Him! Let there be an end to that quickly! Maranatha!

We pray:

  • We realize the mess our nation’s sins have caused…not only to us and our generations, but to the world who expected so much more from us! In rebelling against You and Your laws, and are “reaping the whirlwind”! We give all this to You, Lord, and ask that You step in and deal with it as You will.
  • Father, we come before You, repenting for the sin of electing unregenerate men and women to seats of authority. They are not qualified to hold office, for if they are not Christians, they cannot be expected to rule righteously. Forgive us!
  • That You would remember Your covenant with our forefathers, the Founders of this nation and once again, allow us to affirm and renew that sacred covenant with You.
  • You gave our Founders the prophetic insight to create a government and a Constitution based on scripture as the paradigm for our laws and judgements. Forgive us for getting away from those Biblical roots through:
    • Party affiliations that align against one other and against the good of our nation
    • Pacs and lobbyists who are self serving and do not have the good of our nation in mind.
    • The Church being asleep and allowing our nation to become a prey for evil agendas which permitted globalists, socialists, Muslims, homosexuals and secular humanists to hijack key places in government, media, and our schools.
  • That You will birth and bring forth a revival in our nation and let it be seen in the halls of Congress.
  • That “EVERY SEAT” of authority in our government will be a seat of “righteousness” with only the “righteous ” permitted to be seated!
  • That You would remove those who are currently holding office who are unrighteous and unrepentant. Replace them with those who will work with this President to MAGA.
  • That there will be a day when we see wrong judgements overturned and bad laws rescinded, and we will honor God in “all” things once again.
  • That the Church of this nation will awaken and true revival will take place, giving us a burden for the lost in the world around us. Lord, help us to evangelize and reach our nation and the nations of the world.
