Friday, March 15, 2019 – 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call

“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”

1-712-770-4340 Code: 543555 #

We will not tolerate any demonic interference on the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call

We are taking measures to protect and defend our 24/7 family and this call. At the top of every hour,

the facilitator, in agreement with those on the line, will bind all forces of evil and cast them down into the abyss, then pray a shield of protection over the call and our 24/7 family!

*The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly

for the safety and security of our President and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!

We pray for the protection of our President Donald Trump and cover him with the Blood of Jesus.

We bless our First Lady, Melania, their young son Barron and each of their family members.

We cover our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family

and all those in this Administration who are serving You and our nation!”

The 24/7 NSPC has called the Body of Christ nationwide to pray for the 2020 National Elections,

mobilizing intercessors and positioning ourselves in prayer before the Lord

on behalf of our President and nation!

Today, we pray into this verse for our elections.

“I will say, ‘This is My people’; And each one will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’”

Zechariah 13:9

Strategic Focus for Friday

WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES

“A House Divided…”

“Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation,

and every city or house divided against itself will not stand

He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.”

Matthew 12: 25 and 30

It’s one thing to have those you know are opposed to you or are your sworn enemies come against you and vote down every attempt you make to help this nation! It’s quite another to have those who are supposed to be working together, on the same team, (who “live” in the same “house”) betray your confidence and not only fail to stand with you, but actually vote against you

This is what took place yesterday as 12 Senate Republicans joined every Democrat Senator in voting to block President Trump’s border emergency declaration. Purported to be “worried about Executive overreach”, it was, in fact, an act of betrayal to this nation and our people. Their votes both undermined and undercut the President in his attempt to preserve, protect and defend this nation, and it ultimately revealed the depth of deception and excuses made by the DC “swamp dwellers” as they move to secure and advance either their own or another group’s agenda.

Vice President Mike Pence and Justice Department officials met with Senate Republicans, to make clear the legal and administrative case in favor of the national emergency declaration and to keep Republicans united!

The VP said that “a vote against the President’s National Emergency Declaration is a vote to deny the humanitarian and security crisis that’s happening at our southern border. So we’re urging every member of the Senate… set politics aside to recognize that we have a crisis.”

Let us read and pray into this scripture on behalf of all our leaders:

“Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing

and that there be no divisions among you,

but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.”

1 Corinthians 1:10

But some did not have “ears to hear”, and despite efforts to keep the GOP together on the issue of border security, the measure passed the Senate 59-41. That action has now put Congress on a path to its “first veto confrontation” with the Trump administration…something the President has said he’ll do!

Again, read and pray into this scripture regarding our legislators:

“Thus I am like a man who does not hear, And in whose mouth is no response.”

Psalm 38:14

Moments after the resolution was voted on, the President made his intentions crystal clear, tweeting:

“VETO!”

He followed that up minutes later with this tweet:

“I look forward to VETOING the just passed Democrat inspired Resolution which would OPEN BORDERS while increasing Crime, Drugs, and Trafficking in our Country. I thank all of the Strong Republicans who voted to support Border Security and our desperately needed WALL!”

We pray into this verse for our President and those who oppose him:

“Anyone who isn’t with me opposes me,

and anyone who isn’t working with me is actually working against me.”

Luke 11:23

Siding with the President, some of the Republican leaders spoke out in support of the declaration:

  • Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-KY blamed Democrats for denying the money for the wall and forcing President Trump’s hand. “President Trump’s decision to announce emergency action is the predictable and understandable consequence of Democrats’ decision to put partisan obstruction ahead of the national interest”. He initially counseled the President against invoking the national emergency out of concerns it would divide Senate Republicans and test the separation of powers, but he voted with the President on Thursday and defended his actions as lawful. “He has simply operated within existing law, the National Emergencies Act of 1976, to invoke a narrow set of authorities to reprogram a narrow set of funds. If Congress has grown uneasy with this new law, as many have, then we should amend it.”
  • House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-CA said: “we face a humanitarian and national security crisis at the border that must be addressed.”
  • Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) says he voted to stand with President Trump because securing the southern border ensures the safety of every American.
  • Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-SC and Rep. Jim Jordan, R-OH, were among those who stood with the President in support of the emergency declaration.

Again, read and pray intothis verse for those who stood with the President:

“…the hand of God was on Judah to give them singleness of heart

to obey the command of the king and the leaders, at the word of the Lord.”

2 Chronicles 30:12

Others were more ambivalent, waffling, giving mixed signals, seemingly “playing both sides”…

  • Sen. Tim Scott, R-SC saying: “I’m with the President…any time there’s an opportunity to not do the emergency resolution…if we could find another way to do it, I would be in favor of that first.”
  • Sen. Thom Tillis, R-NC had been against the emergency declaration, originally saying: “I don’t believe a national emergency declaration is the solution” (for border security)….but in a last-minute decision yesterday, he voted with the President. (Note: he is up for re-election next year!)
  • Sen. Richard Shelby, R-AL worked hard to convince fellow Republicans that the redirected military construction funding can be quickly ‘backfilled” in the next round of appropriations, which must pass by the end of September. Yet, many Republicans remained wary, fearing it will deplete critical projects in their states.

Pray into this scripture for those who are lukewarm:

“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.”

Revelation 3:15-16

Then there were the 12 Republican Senators who voted against the President.

Mitt Romney, R-UT, Mike Lee, R-UT, Rob Portman, R-OH; Susan Collins, R-ME; Lisa Murkowski, R-AK, Marco Rubio, R-FL., Rand Paul, R-KY., Lamar Alexander, R-TN, Roger Wicker, R-MS., Roy Blunt, D-MO., Jerry Moran, R-KS, and Pat Toomey, R-PA.

  • Most cited “concerns” ranging from “the expansion of Presidential powers”, to it being a “constitutional question”, or the issue of “the balance of power” between the three co-equal branches of government.
  • Some were discussing ways they could approve the money while at the same time send the message that they do not support the President taking away the power of the purse from Congress
  • Sen. Rand Paul, R-KY., said, “Extra-Constitutional Executive Actions are wrong, no matter which party does them.” He voted against the President
  • Sen. Marco Rubio, R-FL., said he was “skeptical” as to whether he could back the President’s move. He voted against the President
  • Sen. Mike Lee, R-UT, tried to get the President to agree to limit Presidential authority to declare national emergencies going forward, but President Trump said he wouldn’t support it, and Democrats said they’d block it anyway. He voted against the President!

We pray for those who have failed to support and defend this nation by voting against the declaration:

“And one will say to him, ‘What are these wounds between your arms?’

Then he will answer, ‘Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.’”

Zechariah 13:6

On a positive note: to override a Presidential veto requires a two-thirds majority in both chambers. Rep. Mark Meadows, R- NC said: “I’m seeing speculation that Congress could override a POTUS veto with GOP votes. They will not. The votes will not be there.” We agree! AMEN! and AMEN!

The President knows that he will be sued over the declaration. He is confident that he has the authority to take this step of declaring a national emergency, and that he will ultimately prevail when the case comes before the Supreme Court. “The legal scholars all say it’s totally constitutional. It’s very important. It’s really a border security vote.”

We now open our hearts to the Lord, and cry out on behalf of our President and nation!

Take 2 minutes in corporate prayer…

Let the Holy Spirit lead as we offer individual prayers, standing together in God’s Presence,

united in heart, mind, and spirit, interceding for and with our President.

Specific Prayer Topic for Today

Praying for the Mass Media in our Nation

Those who have been or are associated with President Trump are “fair game” for the far left, who continually try to “dig up dirt” in order to threaten, intimidate, blackmail, indict or coerce his friends and supporters into betraying him, any way they can. Sadly, his family members have become targets as well! CNN political analyst Paul Begala referred to his daughter and son-in-law, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, as “cockroaches.” During a discussion about the book, “Kushner, Inc.,” Jake Tapper and a panel were discussing whether or not President Trump would ever “kick his daughter and son-in-law to the curb” and questioned “how the couple has kept their gig” while the White House faces frequent turnover. Begala distastefully remarked:

“Of course they survived. I mean, cockroaches are going to survive a nuclear war.”

We pray:

  • That You will not allow the outrageous attacks and maligning comments of those who are so ignorant and mean spirited to penetrate their hearts or cause damage to their relationship by bringing strife and division. Cause a shield of protection to be raised up to guard their hearts moment by moment.
  • That You would shut the mouths of those who dare to insult and vilify those who are Yours, Lord. We have given Jared and Ivanka to you, and are trusting You to keep them and bring them to Yourself, in Your perfect timing! Until then, we love and pray for them, guarding their hearts as we would our own.
  • Lord, the heart of this father, Donald Trump, is turned toward his children, and their hearts are turned toward him! What a beautiful reflection of the relationship of love that You have with us and we have with You! Bless their relationship, and keep it strong, growing ever deeper in Your love!
