Mar 20, 2019 – Prayer Focus
Wednesday, March 20, 2019 – 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call
“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”
1-712-770-4340 Code: 543555 #
We will not tolerate any demonic interference on the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call.
We are taking measures to protect and defend our 24/7 family and this call. At the top of every hour,
the facilitator, in agreement with those on the line, will bind all forces of evil and cast them down into the abyss, then pray a shield of protection over the call and our 24/7 family!
*The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly
for the safety and security of our President and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for the protection of our President Donald Trump and cover him with the Blood of Jesus.
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their young son Barron and each of their family members.
We cover our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family
and all those in this Administration who are serving You and our nation!”
The 24/7 NSPC has called the Body of Christ nationwide to pray for the 2020 National Elections,
mobilizing intercessors and positioning ourselves in prayer before the Lord
on behalf of our President and nation!
Today, we pray into this verse for our elections.
“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure,
whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence,
if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”
Philippians 4:8
Strategic Focus for Wednesday
WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES
CHOOSE YOU THIS DAY WHOM YOU WILL SERVE!
“Now therefore, fear the Lord, serve Him in sincerity and in truth,
and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt.
Serve the Lord!
And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve,
whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River,
or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell.
But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
Joshua 24:14-15
The admonition of Joshua to the people of Israel is as critical today as it was then. Millions who serve other gods globally are watching and waiting to see what will happen with those in the United States who say they serve the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Who sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ into the world to redeem it.
This nation, founded by those who believed in the Word of God, is undergoing tremendous challenges, and we who are His must deal with each of the situations at hand…NOW…or risk losing our nation as we know it to the forces of darkness. The United States is hanging in the balance…both politically and socially…it must not fail!
We are profoundly aware that we are at this critical point in our history because our nation has been moving away from God for decades. It is time that we stop this runaway train wreck waiting to happen. We must come together, crying out with one voice, seeking His forgiveness and mercy, and submitting to His guidance in order to see it turned around.
President Abraham Lincoln presided over our nation when we were embroiled in the great civil war…a time when two groups of people, with different values, were vying for predominance. One fought for equality/freedom, the other for the master/slave system…a parallel today with the conservative liberators and the liberal enslavers!
To a torn and divided nation, Lincoln spoke these words on March 30, 1863…almost 156 years ago!
“The awful calamity of civil war, which now desolates the land,
may be but a punishment inflicted upon us for our presumptuous sins…
We have forgotten God.
We have forgotten the gracious Hand which preserved us in peace,
and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us;
and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts,
that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own.
Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient
to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us!
It behooves us then to humble ourselves before the offended Power,
to confess our national sins and to pray for clemency and forgiveness.”
This statement should be spoken aloud and taken heed of today! The factions that are at war today may have different names, but the spirits behind them are the same…one championing what is nobel, true and righteous, while the other fights for and serves the purposes of darkness.
The phrases:
“…we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts,
that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own.”
and
“Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient
to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us!”
are particularly painful when we see laws being enacted that violate the very life, liberty and pursuit of happiness that was so treasured by our Founders. We have literally rejected God and His Word, which says:
But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first.
Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first.
Revelation 2:4-5
We pray:
- Lord, hear our heartfelt pleadings for this nation and give us the chance to return to You with all our hearts. We confess that the failure was on our part, not Yours…and recognize that there is much work of restoration to be done. With humble faith, and standing in the righteousness of our beloved Savior, Jesus Christ, we intercede now on behalf of our country…a country that once honored You. Forgive us, Father. Help each of us to be a part of reclaiming, redeeming and rebuilding our beloved country.
- Lord, as we genuinely repent, extend Your mercy and pardon. Lead us and all who love America to an understanding of how far we have strayed as a nation. We humbly ask forgiveness for abandoning You…as individuals, as a people, as a culture and as a country. On behalf of our nation and her people, we cry out and say that we cannot do this without You, and we long to be restored to You.
- As Your church, we pray in repentance for our lukewarm ways. Help us to see our pride, arrogance, self-centeredness, greed, fear, judgments and other shortcomings in light of Your cross. Forgive us for failing to love as You love, for holding unforgiveness in our hearts against those who come against us!
- Father, help us to see our hearts as You see them, so that we can earnestly confess, repent, be forgiven and set free.
- Cleanse us individually and corporately from all sin. Fill us with knowledge and wisdom so that we are made worthy of Your blessing and equipped to stay the course, standing strong in our faith. Grant us the patience as we make Your ways known in this nation and to Your world.
- Your Word says:
“If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” I John 1:9
So we pray for Your mercy, Your patience and protection over America as we seek to turn our country back to You.
- Forgive us for our attempts to control and fix this broken world in our own power. We need You, Lord…and we plead for Your aid.
- Forgive us for the things we have said or done which have contributed to hostility toward the Christian faith. Show each of us the error of our own ways, and allow us to seek, find and live in the center of Your will. May our lives be evidence of your goodness and righteousness.
- Forgive us when we have neglected to speak up when Your name is blasphemed. Give us boldness to speak out in Your defense, with humility and reverence for You. May Your name be referenced once again in the public arena.
- Forgive our silence, Lord. Show us a perfect balance of living gracefully and championing truth.
- Forgive our nation, Lord. Your Word makes clear that we cannot mock You without consequence. Thank You Lord, for forgiving us!
- We know that You love us and long to be gracious to us and to have compassion on us. Together, we receive Your mercy and pardon. Thank You in advance for healing our land!

Specific Prayer Topic for Today
Praying for our Supreme Court and the Judicial System
The Supreme Court on Tuesday handed the Trump administration a victory in its battle to clamp down on illegal immigration by making it easier to detain immigrants with criminal records. The ruling that federal immigration authorities can detain immigrants awaiting deportation anytime after they have been released from prison on criminal charges represents a victory for President Trump.
In the case before the justices, a group of mostly green card holders argued that unless immigrants were picked up immediately after finishing their prison sentence, they should get a hearing to argue for their release while deportation proceedings go forward. But in the 5-4 decision on Tuesday, the Supreme Court ruled against them, deciding that federal immigration officials can detain non-citizens at any time after their release from local or state custody. The court also ruled the government maintains broad discretion to decide who would represent a danger to the community in deciding who to release or detain.
We pray:
- In thanksgiving for this ruling, which was righteous and supports the President’s position.
- May all darkness be dispelled and allow the LIGHT to break through into the hearts and minds of each Justice as they hear, review and decide the cases before them.
- Let each one experience the JOY of salvation and a sacred awareness that You are there to guide them in the decisions they make for this nation!
