We declare that no weapon formed against him will have effect! He is Yours. Lord!
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their young son Barron and each of their family members.
We cover our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family
and all those in this Administration who are serving You and our nation!”
The 24/7 NSPC is calling the Body of Christ nationwide to pray for the 2020 National Elections,
mobilizing intercessors and positioning ourselves in prayer before the Lord
on behalf of our President and nation!

WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES
The “spirit of mammon” – Part 5 – Redeeming our US Banking System
“For thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the Lord of hosts.
‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts.
‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.”
Haggai 2:6-9
We know that this world is filled with all sorts of “systems” that either serve God’s purposes and lead us closer to Him…or stand in opposition to him and try to seduce us and draw us away from Him. In the areas of finances and our national economy, we are continually confronted by the “spirit of mammon” as it strives to maintain influence and control over the United States. Its time of control is coming to an end!
As we acknowledge God’s sovereignty and abide in Christ, His Spirit will show us ways to navigate worldly systems without succumbing to the influences of evil that “shrouds” them. We recognize that money in itself is not evil…rather, that it is the love of money that is wrong! With that understanding, we declare that our financial system can…and will be transformed!
The power to do this comes from the Lord…and by His grace, resides in His people! Redeemed believers, who operate according to God’s precepts will redeem the system and sanctify it to the Lord! Just think what that would mean, if mammon is dethroned, the US financial system is redeemed, and our people no longer serve that evil spirit, but are set free to know, love and serve the Living God! ALLELUIA!
We pray:
- We say “NO!” to mammon, to the greedy pursuit of gain, and every debasing influence that accompanies it.
- We say “YES!” to God, Who, as Father, Redeemer and Sanctifier, loves and cares for us and this nation! It is HE WHO WILL SET IT FREE… to KNOW, LOVE and SERVE HIM in the days to come!

- Notice that the size of the districts in the Northeast tends to be very small, while those in the West are very large. This size discrepancy relates to the population distribution in 1913 when the population was heavily concentrated along the East Coast.
- The FED has adapted to changing population patterns by adding branch offices in the Districts. For example, the Twelfth District is very large geographically and includes Hawaii and Alaska. This District has four branches in addition to its headquarters in San Francisco.

We pray:
- What a beautiful, big country God has given us to live in, raise our families in, and through Him, be a blessing to the nations of the world! Thank You for our resources, Lord! We bless those at the FED who have been put in position to guard them, manage them and cause them to serve our people and nation well!
The structure of the FED: The framers of the Federal Reserve Act purposely rejected the concept of a single central bank. Instead, they provided for a central banking “system” with these three key features: a central governing Board, a decentralized operating structure of 12 Reserve Banks and a combination of public and private characteristics.
Federal Reserve Banks, strategically located in large cities across the country, operate somewhat independently but under the general oversight of the Board of Governors.
- The FED (the central governing board) oversees approximately 5,000 bank holding companies, 850 state bank members of the Federal Reserve Banking System and also oversee the foreign banks operating in the United States.
- Each of the 12 Reserve Banks (the decentralized operating structure) supervises and serves as bank for all the commercial banks in their region.
- Each Reserve Bank serves three audiences—bankers, the U.S. Treasury, and the public:
- Each has a president and first vice president, approved by the Board of Governors.
- Each has a board of directors that oversees the management and activities of their District bank.
- The economists and other employees in each of the 12 Federal Reserve Districts work together to provide a regional perspective and expert knowledge about their local economies.
- Each serves the US Treasury by handling its payments, selling government securities, and assisting with its cash management and investment activities.
We pray:
- For those individuals and the networks of financial institutions operating in conjunction with the FED, so they will help it “run like clockwork” and be a blessing to our nation!
Reserve Banks interact directly with banks in their Districts which helps the entire Federal Reserve System do its job more effectively. Approximately 38% of the 8,039 commercial banks in the United States are “members banks” of the Federal Reserve System. They are “stockholders” of the Reserve Bank in their District and are required to hold 3% of their capital as stock in their Reserve Banks and receive dividends. Unlike stockholders in a public company, banks cannot sell or trade their Fed stock.
Besides the 3,000 + member banks, there are about 17,000 other depository institutions who provide the American people banking services. These include: nonmember commercial banks, savings banks, savings and loan associations, and credit unions. (Although not formally part of the Federal Reserve System, these institutions are subject to the System regulations, including reserve requirements, and have access to the System payments services.)
Federal Reserve Banks are often called “bankers’ banks” because of their services to commercial banks: distributing currency and coin to banks, lending money to banks, and processing electronic payments. BUT they also impact our individual lives, since at some point, our paychecks, checks we’ve written to pay our rent or mortgages, and almost any other bill…have all been sent through one of the 12 Reserve Banks, where our checks were processed. Is it any wonder God’s called us to intercede for the Federal Reserve?
We pray:
- Lord, this is such a vast network! We ask, that with so many “moving parts”, the FED will move like a well-oiled machine, to operate with integrity and honor…and keep our nation’s economy stable.
- As the FED manages our money supply and is a powerful factor in the US economy, we pray that there will be no openings for mammon to “find a foothold” to control any of those associated with it!
- We pray for and bless our Federal Reserve System. We pray that “the Fed” will be redeemed and will serve God’s purposes for our nation and our people!

Praying for the Congress of the United States: Senate and House of Representatives
Those in Congress who have been harassing and trying to undermine the President for the past two years are suddenly feeling the squeeze “when the shoe is on the other foot”. There is mounting evidence that the FBI pursued an array of efforts to gather intelligence from within the Trump campaign. After AG Barr’s testimony on Wednesday that federal authorities had spied on the Trump campaign in 2016, one top Democrat, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-MD, said that Barr’s loyalties were compromised and charged that Barr is not acting “in the best interest of the DOJ or the country.” We respectfully…and joyfully, disagree!
We pray:
- In gratitude for an Attorney General who follows the rule of law and refuses to be intimidated or manipulated! Lord, guard and guide and protect him as he serves You and our nation!
