Apr 14, 2019 – Prayer Focus

Sunday,  April 14, 2019 – 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call

“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”

1-712-770-4340   Code:  543555 #

We will not tolerate any demonic interference on the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call

We are taking measures to protect and defend our 24/7 family and this call. At the top of every hour,

the facilitator, in agreement with those on the line, will bind all forces of evil and cast them down into the abyss, then pray a shield of protection over the call and our 24/7 family!

*The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly

for the safety and security of our President and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!

We pray for the protection of our President Donald Trump and cover him with the Blood of Jesus.

We bless our First Lady, Melania, their young son Barron and each of their family members.

We cover our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family

and all those in this Administration who are serving You and our nation!”

The 24/7 NSPC is calling the Body of Christ nationwide to pray for the 2020 National Elections,

mobilizing intercessors and positioning ourselves in prayer before the Lord

on behalf of our President and nation!

COUNTDOWN: 570 days until the election!

Let us pray into this verse:

“Be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”

James 1:22

Strategic Focus for Sunday

WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES

Christ’s TRIUMPHAL ENTRY into Jerusalem

Today, our focus is on Jesus, the KING of Kings and the LORD of Lords, Who, on Palm Sunday,  entered the city of David, Jerusalem, riding on the back of a donkey! He was KING yet he made his entry in the most humble way, and His coming was accompanied by the shouts of the people rejoicing! HOSANNA! SAVE US!

The next day a great multitude that had come to the feast,

when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,

took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out:

“Hosanna! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’  The King of Israel!”

Then Jesus, when He had found a young donkey, sat on it; as it is written:

“Fear not, daughter of Zion;  Behold, your King is coming,  sitting on a donkey’s colt.”

His disciples did not understand these things at first; but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered

that these things were written about Him and that they had done these things to Him.

Therefore the people, who were with Him when He called Lazarus out of his tomb and raised him from the dead, bore witness. For this reason the people also met Him, because they heard that He had done this sign.

The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, “You see that you are accomplishing nothing.

Look, the world has gone after Him!”

John 12:12-19

The people had cheered and gathered around Him, but only a few verses later, Jesus told his disciples:

“The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified.

Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone;

but if it dies, it produces much grain.

He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also.

If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.

John 12:23-26

He was about to go to His death, but He encouraged His disciples, whom He loved dearly, saying:

A little while longer the light is with you.

Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you;

he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going.

While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.”

These things Jesus spoke, and departed, and was hidden from them.

John 12:35-36

How many times has He spoken to us – through His Word – or a prophetic voice – or through our circumstances – or nature – or a rain shower – or a sunburst…and then hidden Himself so that we would seek after Him? He tells us that we must walk in the LIGHT (Him) and hold onto His promises, and know that when we seek Him with all our hearts, He will let Himself be found!

Take time now to pray… and thank Him for Who He is…for all that He means to us… and for how the blessing of knowing Him has changed and transformed our life! He is the LORD OF LIFE…and we owe all to Him!

ACTION POINT for PALM SUNDAY

“NIGHT of HOSANNAS!”

Today, as we celebrate Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, we remember that on that day, families lined the streets, waved palm branches and shouted “HOSANNA!” The children were especially enthusiastic!  NOW, it is time, once again, for us, as families and individuals, to make the same declaration; this time on behalf of the unborn – on behalf of LIFE.  HOSANNA!  “Oh Lord, save the babies!”

We pray:

  • That tonight, people will take a public stand,  holding  “candlelight vigils” and shouting  their own “HOSANNAS!”  Gather your family, your neighbors, and friends, and stand together in your driveway, or a designated meeting spot, like your church parking lot. Light lanterns or break out the luminaries you use at Christmas. Pray  that others will “catch the vision” as we look toward a national

“NIGHT of HOSANNAS!”
