The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump, and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for our President’s protection and cover him with the Blood of Jesus,
asking that he will respond to every situation by the leading of the Holy Spirit.
We refer those to You who are plotting and planning the demise of our beloved President!
We say “No!” to them and ask that You expose and foil all their plans! Thank You, Lord!
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage, their son Barron and all their family members.
We bless our Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen and their family
and all those serving in this Administration.
We bless the Federal Reserve Board members.
May they serve with integrity and honor, doing what’s right for our nation’s economy!
The 24/7 NSPC is praying for the 2020 National Elections,
positioning ourselves in intercession before the Lord on behalf of our President and nation!
COUNTDOWN: 348 days until the election!

Strategic Focus for Friday
WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
Surrounding our President in Prayer
“You are to be with the king as he goes out and as he comes in.”
2 Kings 11:8
We begin today with a story from 2 Kings 11:4-12. There, we learn about Joash, who became king at age 7. His life had been saved by his father’s sister Jehosheba, the daughter of King Joram, when the wicked queen, Athaliah slaughtered all the royal heirs. Joash, the son of Ahaziah, was the only one who survived. His aunt had him hidden with his nurse in the house of the Lord for six years, while the cruel Athaliah reigned over the land.
“In the seventh year (the priest) Jehoiada sent for the captains of hundreds — of the bodyguards and the escorts — and brought them into the house of the Lord to him. And he made a covenant with them and took an oath from them in the house of the Lord, and showed them the king’s son. Then he commanded them, saying, “This is what you shall do: One-third of you who come on duty on the Sabbath shall be keeping watch over the king’s house, one-third shall be at the gate of Sur, and one-third at the gate behind the escorts. You shall keep the watch of the house, lest it be broken down. The two contingents of you who go off duty on the Sabbath shall keep the watch of the house of the Lord for the king. But you shall surround the king on all sides, every man with his weapons in his hand; and whoever comes within range, let him be put to death. You are to be with the king as he goes out and as he comes in.” So the captains of the hundreds did according to all that Jehoiada the priest commanded. Each of them took his men who were to be on duty on the Sabbath, with those who were going off duty on the Sabbath, and came to Jehoiada the priest. And the priest gave the captains of hundreds the spears and shields which had belonged to King David, that were in the temple of the Lord. Then the escorts stood, every man with his weapons in his hand, all around the king, from the right side of the temple to the left side of the temple, by the altar and the house. And he brought out the king’s son, put the crown on him, and gave him the Testimony; they made him king and anointed him, and they clapped their hands and said, ‘Long live the king!’ ”
What a powerful thing it is for those who are in covenant with God to be summoned to serve in such a capacity! As intercessors who are part of the 24/7 NSPC family, we have each accepted His sacred call to “protect and secure the victory from the day of the election” and especially, to intercede for our President, Donald John Trump, and for that which pertains to our nation! Joash’s guards were in a position to protect him, and we who stand on the wall of our nation, are positioned as worshiping, watching warriors, surrounding our President and nation with prayer!
We pray:
- Thank You, Father, for giving us a Godly man who loves this nation and her people as our President!
- In gratitude for allowing us this sacred duty of keeping watch over our President and our nation!
- That You would help us to rejoice as we remain in position, interceding together on the wall, and also to pray individually as prompted by the Holy Spirit, at an hour of the day or night!
- For wisdom, discerning of spirits and holy boldness that will enable us to pray effectively for our President!
- For the JOY of the Lord to be his strength, and an ever-increasing awareness of the Spirit to be his rudder!
- For the love of God and a fresh new intimacy in the Spirit to overwhelm and direct the First Family.
- That all of his children and grandchildren will receive You as Lord and Savior, and celebrate You daily!
Another of our Presidents, Abraham Lincoln, was also a Godly man, who deeply loved this nation and her people, and ultimately, gave his life for it! Experiencing similar threats and personal attacks as President Trump has, Lincoln led this nation during perilous times as our 16th president. He is remembered for building the Republican Party, rallying the northern Democrats to the Union cause, and issuing the Emancipation Proclamation that freed those slaves within the Confederacy in 1863. A fierce defender of Federal law and the Union, he had warned the Southern states that the issue of civil war was in their hands, not his, saying: “You have no oath registered in Heaven to destroy the government, while I shall have the most solemn one to preserve, protect and defend it.” When Confederate forces fired on Fort Sumter, the Civil War ensued…causing untold pain to the entire nation!
Lincoln never let the world forget what the Civil War involved, and the words of his “GETTYSBURG ADDRESS”…spoken 156 years ago as he dedicated the military cemetery there, are forever enshrined in our hearts and minds! As we today face a similar crisis of division…with threats and fear of civil war being uttered and felt once again… let us pray that his words will impact the soul of our nation anew!
“Fourscore and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal. Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battle-field of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field, as a final resting place for those who here gave their lives that that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this. But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate, we can not consecrate, we can not hallow-this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here. It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us, that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion, that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain, that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom, and that government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth.”
What powerful words!
Let us pray into those key phrases that are impacting us right now, as we intercede for our beloved nation. As we do, let us ask God to put an end to the division that is trying to rip our nation apart!
Pray.
Abraham Lincoln’s heart and mindset were also clearly revealed in his Second Inaugural Address, now inscribed on one wall of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC: “With malice toward none; with charity for all; with firmness in the right, as God gives us to see the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in; to bind up the nation’s wounds…. ”
We pray:
- That the parallel between our 16th and 45th Presidents, in their desire for righteousness and peace to rule and reign in this nation, is upheld, and that we will soon see the hand of God binding up our nation’s wounds and experience the healing that is so necessary to prepare us to serve the Lord in the “end times harvest” as He has said we would!
