Monday, May 1, 2023 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call

“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”

1-712-770-4340 Code: 543555 # (Ongoing call…24 hours a day!)

We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!

“Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground.

For it is time to seek Yahweh until He comes and rains righteousness on you.”

 Hosea 10:12

We sing: Thy Loving Kindness

Thy lovingkindness is better than life. Thy lovingkindness is better than life.

My lips shall praise Thee, thus will I bless Thee. I will lift up my hands unto Thy Name.

I lift my hands up to Thy Name! I lift my hands up unto Thy Name!

My lips shall praise Thee, thus will I bless Thee. I will lift up my hands unto Thy Name.

 (repeat)

The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly

for the safety and security of our duly elected President, Donald John Trump,

and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!

We pray for his protection, for our First Lady, Melania, and their marriage

and for all the members of their family. We cover them all with the Blood of Jesus.

Pray.

For the restoration of Donald Trump to his rightful office.

In every situation and decision, let our President be led by the Holy Spirit,

so that he learns the truth and acts accordingly, for the good of the nation.

Pray.

For protection, provision, and peace

for all working to expose the fraud and corruption of our elections!

As the SAVE AMERICA movement gains momentum, let those leaders that God anoints and appoints

take their places in the governments of each state and in our nation’s Capitol!

Pray.

For us to receive and put on the full armor of God as we begin this hour,

that we might be protected as we stand in the gap and pray for our nation!

Pray.

Strategic Focus for Monday

WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!

THE BATTLE TO SAVE AMERICA! – Part 342

The Returning of President Trump to the White House! – Part 232

“It is a joy for the just to do justice, but destruction will come to the workers of iniquity.”

Proverbs 21:15

John Donato, a member of our 24/7 family, serves as the State Coordinator for the 24/7 NJ Strategic Prayer Call. A long-standing member of the Law Enforcement Community, he shared a critical situation involving some officers with which he serves and has asked for prayer and Godly counsel as to how to handle this situation.

We believe that this is another case of ”the tail wagging the dog” with the continual persecution of law enforcement, who, while simply doing their job, are brought under intense pressure and scrutiny, and accused of wrongdoing to appease the left who wants to defund them and is literally “crying for their blood!” As we read John’s first-hand account and pray into it…let us lift up these officers…and those across this land being attacked while trying to do what they have sworn to do: “Protect and Serve”… at their own peril! Pray.

I have been a professional corrections officer for 27 years. I’ve seen things a million times worse than this alleged crime. This case is purely political persecution from the NJ State AG Platkin, who was singled out for appointment because of his sexual preference of being a gay man. The office that investigated this fake news is called the Office of Public Integrity & Accountability, brought to you by BLM. My heart breaks for these guys’ families and for my brothers in blue. If this unjust process succeeds, then morale will be utterly decimated in the jails and on the streets. You can expect a “do no harm, so touch no one, so do nothing,” response to everything from now on. This goes against all my training and all my experience. Pray.

The enemy has manufactured this crisis and attack on law and order. Police jobs were the golden prize in NJ; Corrections jobs were the runners-up. Now no one wants the jobs, no one can hire. Every department is short-staffed, everywhere. My department is short 35 offices, and for the first time in history, the NJ State Troopers are actually advertising to try to hire, because no one wants their job, the most prestigious cop job in the state. So the standards will get lowered and the quality will be lowered, and eventually, there will be a call to replace flawed men with machines, robots, drones & more cameras at everyone’s expense.

You see, this guy that died wasn’t some poor young kid that took one too many pills; he was a lifelong problem child that was a “frequent flier” with his township police and the local jail. His death was a tragedy that he himself was responsible for. Pray.

Here is a synopsis of the case from the New York Times. (I -John Donato- added my own comments.) HEADLINE: Jail Guards Charged with Manslaughter in Death of Detainee (NYT 4-25-23)

A New Jersey grand jury voted to indict six other officers in connection with the 2019 death of a 41-year-old man.

After being handcuffed by the police, Mario Terruso Jr. was (allegedly) hallucinating, (allegedly) complaining of extreme nausea, and appeared to be high on drugs (just like almost every person that gets brought in). He asked to be taken to a hospital. (which is what all people being brought to jail do, it happens so frequently it’s called “jail-itus.”)

But instead, the New Jersey officers brought him directly to jail, concerned about getting bogged down on a Sunday hospital shift awaiting a lengthy medical evaluation, which is the common practice. (Would you rather have a patrol unit out of service babysitting a criminal, or readily available to respond to any call for help?) When he entered the jail and was met by the reception staff, he could have told them that he swallowed drugs or drank poison, or complained of feeling sick, but he did not. (The reason he wouldn’t say anything is that he swallowed drugs with the intent of bringing them into jail to sell or later use, once again a common occurrence in my profession). Thirteen hours later, after being forcibly restrained in jail, Mr. Terruso, 41, was dead. (What did he die from you ask? The drugs he had ingested. He never told anyone that he had ingested them, which would have automatically been a trip to the ER.) Pray.

On Monday, a grand jury took the unusual step of handing up indictments against eight officers involved in the 2019 arrest and the subsequent restraint of Mr. Terruso inside Atlantic County’s jail. Two of them, Sgt. Eric Tornblom and Mark Jenigen, correction officers at the jail, are now charged with manslaughter. Thomas Eicher, director of the Attorney General’s Office of Public Integrity & Accountability, reserved his harshest criticism for the arresting officers from Hamilton Township in Atlantic County. In a statement about five officers, Eicher said each is accused of official misconduct, charges that carry a mandatory five-year sentence upon conviction. Pray.

Earlier that day, Terruso, (a father of four who wasn’t paying child support, and had an arrest record a mile long) had entered an unlocked, occupied house (that is called “burglary”) in the township of Hamilton at lunchtime. He picked up a knife and began making unfounded claims that people had been shooting at him. Although the homeowner chose not to press charges, (probably because he was scared for his life & also aware that bail reform just releases violent deranged criminals within days) the police took Terruso into custody because of an outstanding warrant for unpaid child support. Handcuffed in a squad car, he told officers that he had been vomiting — (once again they all lie and complain of chest pains, and breathing difficulties, or being covid positive, anything to try to avoid going to jail) a detail not shared with jail employees, according to prosecutors from the Public Integrity Unit, who interviewed witnesses and reviewed video footage and autopsy results. Pray.

As the day wore on, Terruso began gagging and spitting up a black substance, leading to a drug test that was positive for methamphetamine and ecstasy. (Staff watching him reported this because they were concerned that he had swallowed drugs). But as jail workers were preparing to bring him to a hospital, Mr. Terruso grew combative, (which means he was not following simple instructions, resisted their lawful orders and control, and fought with them while he was handcuffed, dragging 4 staff members across the floor as they were trying to get him shackled for a hospital transport).

In 2021, the Attorney General’s office released footage from body-worn police cameras taken before Terruso died, as is required in New Jersey when there is a death in police custody. State policy also requires that the results of the investigation be presented to a grand jury, which can be asked to vote on an indictment formally charging officers with a crime. Still, in the three years since the formal review policy was implemented by a former attorney general, Gurbir Grewal, charges against members of law enforcement have been rare. Kenneth Sebastian León, an assistant professor of criminal justice at Rutgers University, said that Terruso’s apparent drug use made the indictments even more unusual. These two good men, Sgt Tornblom and Officer Jenigen face 10 years in prison if convicted of second-degree manslaughter. Pray.

Charles J. Sciarra, a lawyer for the Policemen’s Benevolent Association, whose law firm is representing the five Hamilton officers, offered a blistering rebuke of Mr. Platkin, saying that the time-lapse — more than three years — indicated that the attorney general was motivated mainly by politics. “Why three-plus years? We cannot blame Covid, as grand juries have been up and running for nearly two years. Instead, perhaps it’s this unapologetic anti-cop attorney general and his minions scouring their files for something to hammer cops on to appease their base.” Pray.

Calls to the Warden at Atlantic County Justice Facility in Mays Landing, NJ, were directed to a county spokeswoman, Linda Gilmore, who did not return calls. Philip Nettl, a criminal defense lawyer and a part-time lecturer in the criminal justice department at Rutgers University, said the indictments send a clear signal. “It tells law enforcement that every decision you make is going to be scrutinized. There’s no looking the other way anymore and just saying, ‘It’s part of the job and bad things happen.’ Pray.

We pray:

  • For those who serve in communities across this land, that they will receive respect from our citizens and uphold a strict code of conduct as they fulfill their vow to “protect and serve!” Pray.
  • That the Lord will defend those who are unjustly accused and persecuted for political motives, and that they will be found innocent of any wrongdoing. That those on the left, persecuting law enforcement for political reasons, will be exposed and removed, Pray.
  • That the people of our nation will stand alongside President Trump, and support law enforcement, as we remain engaged in this BATTLE TO SAVE AMERICA! Pray.
  • That the Congressional investigations into the “usurper” Biden, his family and members of his faux administration, will bring convictions of treason and see the restoration of righteousness for all!! Pray.
  • Protect and strengthen our 24/7 family and add more intercessors who are called to this assignment with us, to pray for our President and our beloved nation in this Battle to Save America! Pray.
