Mar 31, 2025 – Prayer Focus

Monday, March 31, 2025 – The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call
“A CALL TO THE WALL…ONE NATION UNDER GOD”
1-712-770-4340 Code: 543555 # (Ongoing call…24 hours a day!)
We begin our hour by praising and giving thanks to God!
“One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple.”
Psalm 27:4
We sing: Better is One Day
How lovely is your dwelling place, Oh, Lord Almighty, for my soul longs and even faints for You.
For here my heart is satisfied within Your Presence. I sing beneath the shadow of Your wings.
Better is one day in Your courts, better is one day in Your house,
better is one day in Your courts than thousands elsewhere!
Better is one day in Your courts, better is one day in Your house,
better is one day in Your courts than thousands elsewhere!
One thing I ask and I would seek…to see Your beauty, to find You in the place Your glory dwells.
One thing I ask and I would seek…to see Your beauty, to find You in the place Your glory dwells.
My heart and flesh cry out for You, the living God! Your Spirit’s water to my soul.
I’ve tasted and I’ve seen, come once again to me. I will draw near to You! I will draw near to You!
Better is one day in Your courts, better is one day in Your house,
better is one day in Your courts than thousands elsewhere!
Better is one day in Your courts, better is one day in Your house,
better is one day in Your courts than thousands elsewhere!

For us to receive and put on the Ephesians 6 “full armor of God” as we begin each hour,
that we might be protected as we continue to “stand in the gap” for our beloved country!
Pray.
The key assignment for the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call is to intercede hourly
for the safety and security of our President, Donald John Trump,
and to pray for that which pertains to our nation!
We pray for his protection and ask that he be led by the Holy Spirit
so that he will discern truth and act for the good of the nation.
We bless our First Lady, Melania, their marriage and family, and cover them all with the Blood of Jesus.
Pray.
For those leaders that God has anointed, appointed, and elected,
as they take their places in the governments of each state and in our nation’s Capitol!
May they work together to clean up corruption in our government, and restore our electoral system.
Pray.
We will now spend the next 10 minutes praying for President Trump,
focusing our prayers against any demonic attacks against his physical body,
so that he will remain in good health, able to serve his entire 4-year term as our 47th US President!
Pray.
Strategic Focus for Monday
WELCOME THE KING OF GLORY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!
ENGAGING IN A WARFARE OF LOVE: THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, GOD’S CHAMPION FOR WORLD EVANGELISM AND COMPASSION MINISTRY – PART 71
“You shall raise up the foundations of many generations;
and you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, the Restorer of streets to dwell in.”
Isaiah 58:12
Mary Ellen (IL) suggested the following article, saying: “I did not expect what became clear to me by the end of the article: President Trump has had an amazing impact Restoring American Culture.” Read and rejoice!
Roger Kimball, Editor of The New Criterion, wrote on Restoring American Culture for last month’s IMPRIMIS, a publication of Hillsdale College. The following excerpts are from a talk he delivered at Hillsdale College in Connecticut. Read and pray for the USA to be fully restored, renewed, and revived!
Throughout his presidential campaign, Donald Trump declared that he and his supporters were “the party of common sense.” In his Inaugural Address on January 20, Trump returned to this theme. With his flurry of executive orders, he said, “We will begin the complete restoration of America and the revolution of common sense. It’s all about common sense.” I agree. But what is “common sense”?
Is it common sense to pretend that men can be women or that you do not know what a woman is? (During her confirmation hearings, a sitting member of the Supreme Court professed to be baffled by that question.)
Is it common sense to open the borders of your country and then to spend truckloads of taxpayer dollars to feed, house, and nurture the millions of illegal migrants who have poured in?
Is it common sense to sacrifice competence on the altar of so-called diversity, to allow politicians to bankrupt the country by incontinent overspending? (That’s the start of a list one could easily enlarge.)
In the cultural realm, is it common sense to celebrate art that is indistinguishable from pornography or some other form of psychopathology?
Is it common sense to rewrite history in an effort to soothe the wounded feelings of people who crave victimhood?
Is it common sense to transform higher education from an institution dedicated to the preservation and transmission of the highest values of our civilization into a wrecking ball aimed at destroying that Civilization?
Like most important concepts—think of love, justice, knowledge, or the good—common sense is not easy to define. But we know it when we see it. And more to the point, we instantly sense its absence when it is supplanted.
Pray.
In recent years—indeed, at least since the 1960s—our culture has suffered from a deficit of common sense. That deficit has eroded a great many valuable things, from our educational institutions to our cultural life more generally. These days, the revival of common sense is often opposed to the rule of that coterie of bureaucrats the media calls “the elites.” As a shorthand expression, it makes a certain amount of sense to speak of elites…the folks in Davos who want to vaccinate us into oblivion, encourage us to give up steak for insects, and keep tilting at windmills to battle the weather…all members of that shiny, self-satisfied group. So are the products of our Ivy (and near-Ivy) League institutions—those who have been called the “herd of independent minds” who all think alike, believe they were born to rule, and occupy nearly every perch upon the tree of societal privilege. But rather than being a true elite, which suggests a quota of excellence, merit, and achievement, those we call “the elite” are really just the credentialed class. They are often clever and always politically correct. Eric Hoffer, a philosopher from the 1960s, rightly observed that “self-appointed elites” will “hate us no matter what we do,” and that “it is legitimate for us to help dump them into the dustbin of history.”
Pray.
Indeed, that exercise in large-scale tidying-up is central to President Trump’s effort to bring about the “restoration of America” through the triumph of common sense. It is worth pausing over the word “restoration.” The dictionary tells us that the verb “to restore” means “to bring back to good condition from a state of decay or ruin.”
There are essentially two parts to this process.
The first is to acknowledge the state of decay or ruin for what it is. The abnormal is not the normal just because it is prevalent. For example, the mutilation of children is not “gender-affirming care.” Anti-white racism is not “anti-racism.” Illegal migrants are not “undocumented ‘new neighbors.’” A bisected cow in a tank of formaldehyde is not an important work of art.
The second part of the ambition to restore American culture begins by rescuing vital examples of
cultural achievement from the sneering oblivion to which the establishment elite consigned them.
As to the state of decay or ruin, we are all familiar with what the “long march through the institutions” – a phrase t of Marxist jargon whose basic idea is that the best way to achieve revolution is through a process of co-option: take over a society’s schools, churches, and other cultural institutions, marinate them in a broth of liberationist ideas drawn from Marx and other left-wing intellectuals, and pretty soon you have taken over the commanding social, moral, and political heights of that society. Irving Kristol touched upon the conservative indifference to the claims of culture in his 1973, Utopianism, Ancient and Modern. “For two centuries,” he wrote, “the very important people who managed the affairs of this society could not believe in the importance of ideas — until one day they were shocked to discover that their children, having been captured and shaped by certain ideas, were either rebelling against their authority or seceding from their society. The truth is that ideas are all-important. The massive and seemingly solid institutions of any society—the economic institutions, the political institutions, the religious institutions—are always at the mercy of the ideas of the people who populate these institutions. The leverage of ideas is so immense that a slight change in the intellectual climate can and will—perhaps slowly but nevertheless inexorably—twist a familiar institution into an unrecognizable shape.” Kristol’s point applies to the attitude of the elites who manage the affairs of our society regarding art and culture. They did not think or care much about art — something that went on, as it were, behind their backs. One day, they woke up and found the art world, including the formerly staid world museums, was awash in sexualized garbage, postmodern inanity, and race worship. Establishment conservatives have done nothing effective to challenge this. On the contrary, despite little whimpers here and there, they have capitulated to it.
Pray.
From the moment Donald Trump was shot at a rally last July, people have been speaking about a “vibe shift,” a shift in the zeitgeist (the mood of the times) of American culture. That revolution in sentiment picked up speed with President Trump’s election in November, and it began barreling down the main line with his inauguration. We hear about the “peaceful transfer of power” when a new president takes office. The old crowd vacates their positions while the new crowd slides in to take their places. Institutions remain inviolate; nothing essential changes. His ascension was the opposite. He was elected not to preserve the status quo but to remake it. On January 20, he moved quickly to show that his administration would not be words only; it would be a locomotive of deeds. Within hours of taking office, he issued some 200 executive orders and proclamations, affecting everything from immigration and the border to taxes and the cost of living. He ordered that the U.S. withdraw from the Paris Climate Accords and the World Health Organization and directed that federal employees return to working full-time and in-person. With the stroke of his pen, he obliterated DEI operations throughout the government. The exhibition of energy and self-confidence was extraordinary.
Pray.
President Trump has repeatedly said that his common-sense revolution would usher in a new “Golden Age.” In the context of unleashing the economy and technological innovation, we can understand this to mean literal gold. But a large part of our new “Golden Age” will be under the heading of “normality.” The return of common sense is also the return of the normal….a culture at one with itself, innocent of the self-loathing, which has been a disfiguring feature of elite American culture since the ‘60s. From our perspective in early 2025, it is a culture of common sense—affirmative, forward-looking, and normal. “Energy” and “confidence” have been hailed as hallmarks of a vibrant civilization and identified “lack of confidence, more than anything else,” as that which “kills a civilization.” The spectacle of Donald Trump’s boundless energy, and the energy he calls forth from others, is heartening. It makes us appreciate how his “revolution of common sense” might not only spark a political restoration, but also a new cultural Golden Age.
Pray.
We pray:
That the energy and self-confidence exhibited by President Trump will become the new “norm” for Americans as we move together into the Golden Age. Pray.
The “common sense” will spark the revolution that will usher in the restoration and redemption of this nation, as we return to the Lord with all our hearts. Pray.
That the people of our nation will stand alongside President Trump, and remain engaged in this BATTLE TO SAVE AMERICA until VICTORY is won! Pray.
Protect and strengthen our 24/7 family and bring in new intercessors – and in particular, Godly men – who are called to this assignment with us, to pray for our President and our beloved nation! Prepare us for our NEXT STEPS in this Battle to Save America! Pray.
